Research On The Construction Of Graduate Schools In My Country's Universities

The construction of "double first-class"(world-class universities and world-class disciplines)puts forward new requirements for the graduate education of first-class universities in our country.To realize the connotation development of graduate education,the construction of China's university graduate schools also faces corresponding changes.In the current reform of higher education management system,fully understand the status and role of graduate schools in the development of graduate education in the new era,and strengthen the construction of graduate schools,is the mission entrusted to us by the times.This study uses the text analysis method and the system analysis method to try to sum up the overall picture of the construction of our graduate school from a more comprehensive and rich perspective.Selecting 29 universities and colleges as research samples and applying content analysis method are complementary arguments for the construction of graduate schools in China.The first chapter analyzes the macroscopic,meso-level,and micro-levels that the construction of graduate schools in our country is the inevitable choice for the transformation of national development strategy,the rapid development of graduate education,and the development needs of colleges and universities.The second chapter elaborates the significance of our country's graduate school building on the development of national higher education,improving the quality of graduate education and the development of colleges and universities.The third chapter combs and summarizes the history of the establishment of the Graduate School in China,and briefly analyzes the four basic contents of the legal status,the functional orientation and the construction of the Graduate School.The fourth chapter focuses on the experience and issues of the construction of graduate schools in China.The top-down setting method,the full play of the functions of the graduate school,and the relationship between the graduate school and the grass-roots training unit are all accumulated experiences in the construction of our graduate school.At the same time,there are also certain problems in the construction of China's graduate schools in terms of legal status,functional orientation,organizational construction,system construction,discipline construction,and the construction of tutor teams.The fifth chapter proposes the thinking and suggestions for the construction of graduate schools in China in view of the existing problems.First,in terms of legal status,the principle of legal administration and self-discipline of the industry is adhered to.On the one hand,the graduate school should be granted its legal status,and the government authority on the graduate school problem should be reset;on the other hand,it should rely on the "Dean of the Chinese Graduate School".The "society" of this kind of industry self-discipline to develop the role of the organization.Second,in terms of functional positioning,we must clarify the management orientation of the graduate school and reform the basic functions of the graduate school.Third,in terms of organizational development,it is necessary to optimize the organizational structure of the graduate school and improve the organization system of the graduate school.Fourth,in terms of institution building,we must innovate the graduate school management system and strengthen the secondary school management mechanism.Fifth,in the discipline construction,we must strengthen the construction of key disciplines and actively promote the construction of first-rate disciplines.Sixth,in the construction of the mentor team,it is necessary to appropriately expand the size of the mentor team,strengthen the construction of the teacher ethics,and improve the overall quality of the mentor team.
