The disciplinary boundary problem of ideological and political education is an important frontier problem in the research of this subject,and it is also a theoretical problem that is urgently needed to be solved.Ideological and political education discipline boundary problem began with the founding of the ideological and political education discipline,and with the development of discipline increasingly highlight.Eventually,the "enclosure movement" of neighboring disciplines and "interdisciplinary study" call it in to the forefront.However,the maintenance and crossing of ideological and political education subject boundary are two aspects of a problem.Without disciplinary boundary,what is the interdisciplinary boundary?How can we define the boundary of the subject without experiencing the interdisciplinary boundary?The disciplinary boundary problem research of ideological and political education is not committed to being "behind closed doors",but in order to be better for interdisciplinary research and avoid being neglected in the flow of "interdisciplinary study".Ultimately,the "interdisciplinary study" can achieve actual effect.The article is divided into three steps,and tries to draw the boundary of ideological and political education subject from the academic level.To this end,the first step to study is from "no have" to "have",through the ideological and political education discipline boundary of the"original" and "source"--two big logical starting points to discuss the "possibility" of ideological and political education discipline boundary,which proved that ideological and political education discipline has the border.At the same time,the research of the second step is the "necessity" of ideological and political education discipline boundary,in other words,from the analysis of present condition of ideological and political education discipline boundary.It reinterprets the concept of discipline boundary and describes the chaotic predicament of ideological and political education discipline boundary,analyzes the chaos of the ideological and political education discipline boundary from four big reasons by the Lord to the time.Because of the subject boundary is existed but unclear,the third step of the study is to try to turn the "possibility" of the boundary of the ideological and political education into "reality".In comprehensive consideration of the delimitation of ideological and political education discipline boundary from inner and outer basis,the article puts forward the four principles of the delimitation of ideological and political education discipline boundary:the core principle named the combination of "rethinking" and"unthinking",the basic principle named the combination of person-possessed and self-possessed,the first principle named the consistence of name and practicality and the specific principle of the balance between hard and soft phases.Under the guidance of these principles,the article finally delimits ideological and political education subject boundary in particular from the perspective of relationship of time and space and the logical relationship which is equal to the "rethinking" and"unthinking"--the core principle.The boundary demarcation of the ideological and political education subject in time and space is mainly carried out from two aspects:the vertical grasp of modern and traditional and the lateral grasp of the subject and adjacent disciplines.The boundary demarcation of the ideological and political education in the logical relationship is mainly considered from three aspects:cognitive boundary,functional boundary and development boundary.
