In recent years, the goal of undergraduate education is about thestudents learn critical thinking, independent research and creative spirit. With the reform and opening up, the Undergraduate Tutorial System was into Chinese universities. The Undergraduate Tutorial System is a system of the high moral character, academic standards and enterprising teachers guiding undergraduate students’life and thoughts. The Undergraduate Tutorial System began at the Oxford University.It due to a late start in China, there are many difficulties to be resolved in the implementation process. This study is in the perspective of Oxford Tutorial System, summarized and analyzed the problems during the development and give our universities advises of consummating tutorial system.This paper consists of four parts. In theintroduction, it clarified the reason of choosing this topic, significance and research methods.Current Situation of the study, learn about the focus of this study and related concepts.The firstChapter explores the history and current situation of the Undergraduate Tutorial System.Summary educational philosophy and meaning of the Oxford Tutorial System.Summarizes its development characteristics. In 1930,Zhejiang University introduced the Undergraduate Tutorial System form the Oxford University, it was followed by other colleges and universities. The universities in China mainly based on learning Oxford Tutorial during this period.drawthe key lessons of Oxford Tutorial implement successful:Adhere to the philosophy of education aboutcultivatingcomprehensive development talent;Student development as the evaluation standard management system;Heuristic Teaching.Later, because of the impact by the former Soviet Union, undergraduate tutorial system temporarily quit the stage of history.Due to cultural background and current situation,The Undergraduate Tutorial Systembegan to adjust according to their characteristics, showing different from Oxford Tutorial System features.This paper summarized the current type of the Undergraduate Tutorial System. We should pay attention to the education concept of the Undergraduate Tutorial System,and add the localization elements according to the actual situation of the school.The second chater, summary of Tutor System for undergraduates in colleges and universities in the implementation of specific issues and in-depth analysis of the reasons.
