Research On The Management Of Student Affairs In Private Colleges And Universities

Facing the trend of popularization of higher education in China,people pay more and more attention to education.More and more people begin to accept higher education.However,the population base of our country is large and the public resources of education are insufficient.With the rapid growth of the economy,the state and local governments have also strengthened their input and support to private higher education.The state has promulgated a series of laws and regulations and policies to encourage the development of private education.The rise of private education has changed the single situation of the system of running a school in our country,increased the public resources,solved the problem of educational equity better,and made more and more people able to receive higher education at a higher level.Private colleges and universities have taken on more and more tasks in higher education and educating people,and play a more and more important role in cultivating a large number of outstanding professional and technical talents for the country and the society.At the same time,the training of talents in private universities has gradually become the focus of attention.Student affairs management can no longer take the old road.Compulsory administrative management has suppressed students' personality and restricted their creativity.In order to achieve the purpose of all-round development of students,private colleges and universities have paid more and more attention to the management of students' affairs,because the good student affairs management plays an important role in the stable development of private colleges and universities,the improvement of reputation,the strengthening of their strength,and the quality and connotation construction of private education in our country.Student affairs management is a foreign word.With the rapid development of market economy,the deepening of the reform of private colleges and universities has been gradually recognized by our education experts.Student affairs management is divided into two aspects: transactional management,guidance and service management.The management of rewards and punishment,community management,financial support management,dormitory management and employment management are generally considered as management student affairs,and all of them involve psychological counseling,employment guidance,various information services,three views education,and student cadre training,which are of service and guiding student affairs.This article summarizes the basic situation of student affairs management in private colleges and universities in Shandong province.Through the questionnaire survey and statistics on the specific affairs of private colleges and universities in Shandong province,such as financial aid management,dormitory management,innovative and entrepreneurial education management,three-view education and mental health education,this paper analyzes the present situation of student affairs management in private colleges and universities in Shandong province,and sums up the existing problems in the management philosophy,management system,management team and autonomous management at present.Learning from the experience of the United States,Germany and Japan in student affairs management,introducing the concept of " customer first" in new public management theory into the optimization of management,giving full play to students' independent management,establishing " student-oriented" service consciousness,respecting students' personality and safeguarding students' rights and interests;Despite many shortcomings brought by hierarchical organization,such as poor information communication and low working efficiency,the flat theory is used to construct the organizational structure,changing passive management into active management,promoting the transformation of management team functions,innovation of ideas,improving service level,establishing effective " incentive mechanism",broadening management ideas,proposing that specialization is the inevitable trend to realize the management development of students in private colleges and universities,and putting forward practical countermeasures for taking the professional road.
