Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2011)clearly states that we must focus on stimulating students' curiosity and aspiration to knowledge,developing students' thinking and improving moral cultivation and aesthetic interest.The period of primary education is the critical period for the development of children's aesthetic ability.Children's aesthetic ability develops fastest and is easily influenced by education during this period.Teachers should pay attention to the development of children's aesthetic ability and cultivate children's aesthetic ability in teaching.As a kind of natural aesthetic education material,ancient poetry is full of poet's peculiar imagination,rich ideological knowledge and deep social practice experience.Ancient poetry teaching plays an important role in cultivating children's aesthetic ability.The development of the new curriculum reform and the continuous exploration of the Chinese language teachers have enabled the primary school ancient poetry teaching to gain a lot of successful experience in teaching methods and teaching modes.However,ancient poetry teaching is still in the stage of development exploration.The utilitarianism of teaching objectives,the dislocation of teachers' roles,and the single teaching methods are still serious problems.The problem of neglecting the cultivation of children's aesthetic ability in archaic poetry teaching is more serious.The core of this research is to cultivate children's aesthetic ability in the teaching of ancient poetry,combining the characteristics of ancient poetry teaching and the characteristics of primary school students' physical and mental development,trying to explore effective methods for cultivating children's aesthetic ability in ancient poetry teaching.This report uses J elementary school as the research object and adopts the observation method,interview method,and questionnaire survey method.In the study,the author came into the classroom and participated in the practice,and discovered the experience of J elementary school's teaching,such as the "three minutes before class" activity.The author also found that some problems in the J primary school's teaching,such as ignoring the students' aesthetic experience,missing the language ability training,ignoring the cultivation of students' individual aesthetic imagination,and insufficient accumulation of aesthetic images.Through the exploration of these issues,the author proposes suggestions for improving teacher cultivation,tempering education and teaching methods,and focusing on student growth in order to improve children's aesthetic ability of ancient poetry.
