Applied Research On Current Affairs News In Cultivating The Core Literacy Of Senior High School Students In Geography

With the rapid development of information technology and the popularity of smart phones,the dissemination of news on current events is increasingly diversified,the speed of updating is faster,and the access to news on current events is more convenient.These news on current events can timely convey the latest information in different regions and fields,with strong characteristics of the times,localities,and is closely related to people's life,work and study,etc.At the same time,it also coincides with the idea advocated by the General Geography Curriculum Standard for Senior High School(2017 Edition).Therefore,the proper introduction of news on current events in senior high school geography teaching can not only update some outdated geographical materials in teaching materials.To attract students' attention better,enhance students' interest in learning Geography,improve the effect of teaching in the classroom,but also helps to cultivate students' Core Literacy of Geography in Senior High School,pay attention to local areas,and improve awareness of national and global geographical issues and sustainable development issues.It can be said that news on current events is a living geography teaching material and an effective auxiliary tool in high school geography teaching.The main purpose of this study is to put forward some ideas and opinions on the application of news on current events in cultivating students' Core Literacy of Geography,so as to provide some operational news on current events application programs for geography teachers in senior high school.In order to improve the ability of geography teachers to develop and apply news on current events,it will lay a foundation for introducing news on current events into high school geography teaching.Based on the theories of educational psychology and curriculum theory and the teaching practice of geography in senior high school,this paper studies the application of news on current events in cultivating the core accomplishment of geography in senior high school.The research of this paper mainly includes the following parts: the first part: we can understand the related concepts and theoretical basis of news on current events and the core accomplishment of geography discipline,and so on,through reading the Curriculum Standard of Geography in Senior High School(2017)and related literature.At the same time,this paper analyzes the significance of news on current events in cultivate student' Core Literacy of Geography and the current research situation at home and abroad.The second part analyzes the relationship between news on current events and geography in senior high school,and classifies them based on the core accomplishment of geography.By analyzing the relationship between news on current events and the Curriculum Standard of Geography in Senior High School(2017),the core accomplishment of geography discipline and the geography teaching material of senior high school,this paper tries to find out the combination of news on current events and cultivating the coreaccomplishment of geography discipline of senior high school students.The news on current events is classified based on the core accomplishment of geography.The third part,aiming at the application of news on current events in cultivating students' Core Literacy of Geography,corresponding application countermeasures have been put forward,and case analysis has been carried on.Based on the teaching practice of geography in senior high school,this paper tries to understand the problems existing in the application of news on current events in cultivating the core accomplishment of geography in senior high school students,and puts forward the corresponding application countermeasures against the existing problems.Finally,a case study is carried out combined with the teaching content.
