With the advent of knowledge economy era in the 21 st century,society is also in the process of sustainable development and progress.Especially in recent years,the reform of domestic education system continues to deepen,and teachers' continuing education has also been highly valued by the community.In view of the continuing education carried out by middle school teachers,many scholars at home and abroad have studied and discussed it.Junior middle school education is a basic education,basic education is closely related to the future development of a country,and the quality of teachers often determines the success or failure of this basic education.Continuing education helps to enhance teachers' comprehensive quality.However,there are many drawbacks in the continuing education carried out in China,which makes it difficult for teachers to improve their professional quality and comprehensive quality.As a junior high school teacher,in this paper,taking Dalian Jinpu New Area as an example,the author studies the present situation of junior high school teachers' participation in continuing education in China,and finds out the problems.The author puts forward some meaningful countermeasures,in order to improve the learning effect of junior middle school teachers to participate in continuing education,and better promote the quality of teachers.This paper mainly uses the methods of literature,comparison and questionnaire to investigate the present situation of junior middle school teachers' participation in continuing education in Dalian Jinpu New Area,which is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,mainly elaborating the background,significance and related guiding theory of the thesis.The second part is the research status at home and abroad.The third part investigates the present situation of junior middle school teachers' participation in continuing education in Dalian Jinpu New Area by questionnaire,and analyzes the results of the investigation,and summarizes the conclusions needed by the subject research.At present,the most prominent problems of middle school teachers' participation in continuing education include the lack of serious attitude and the unscientific arrangement of participation time.The training content is unreasonable,the continuing education training lacks the overall plan and the actual effect,the continuing education funds support strength is not big and so on.The fourth part is based on the problems that the junior middle school teachers have highlighted in the continuing education link,providing reasonable improvement strategies to help them correctly understand and attach importance to continuing education;rationally arranging the time to participate in the curriculum to enhance the effectiveness;building a diversified education model to meet the different needs of teachers;paying more attention to the beginning;Secondary school teachers' continuing education should be strengthened,and teachers' continuing education training should be done well from the development of schools and teachers.
