The teaching of poetry has always been an important part of Chinese teaching in senior high schools.As a part of excellent traditional culture of China,poetry plays an irreplaceable role in the daily study and life of senior high school students.As one of the most important parts of poetry,it is effective catalysts for students to form the core quality of Chinese because of exquisite words,colorful expressions and euphemistic personal feelings.However,there are differences in the teaching requirements for graceful poetry between middle school and high school.The recitation and preliminary understanding of graceful poetry are paid more attention in the middle school,while more attention is paid to the appreciation and improvement of ability in senior high school.Therefore,the teaching of graceful poetry has a greater impact on high school students and should be paid more attention to in high school classroom teaching.First of all,this paper analyzes the necessity and possibility of the difference teaching between graceful poetry and bold poetry,and then states the relevant teaching requirements to high school Chinese textbooks in the new curriculum standard,PEP edition and JSJY edition.Second,the author uses interview and questionnaire survey on students and teachers respectively,finding current problems which are existed in graceful poetry teaching.Research shows that students' interest is not high and learning consciousness is weak.As for teachers,the understanding to graceful poetry is not clear and teaching methods are lagged.Three aspects reasons are presented in terms of external factors,students and teachers according to the existing problems.Finally,combined with the new curriculum standard,teaching objectives and current teaching situation,the teaching strategy of graceful poetry is adjusted from three aspects of hierarchical chanting,different angle appreciation and teaching methods.In the meantime,the author conducts a case analysis of graceful poetry in high school Chinese teaching to support the content of this paper.Four chapters are involved in this thesis and its contents are arranged as follows:The first part is the introduction of graceful poetry in high school.The definition and characteristics of the graceful poetry are clarified,and the relevant teaching requirements are sorted out to lay a good foundation for the following contents.The second part is the analysis of the present situation and causes of graceful poetry teaching in high school.Different forms of investigation are carried out on teachers and students respectively.The current situation and causes of the graceful poetry teaching are found through the analysis of the actual teaching cases.The third part is the value research of graceful poetry to high school students from the perspective of the new curriculum standards,including language use,thinking development,emotion expression and traditional culture inheritance.The fourth part is the teaching strategy of graceful poetry in high school from the perspective of the new curriculum standards.This part mainly discusses from the three level in terms of hierarchical chanting,different angle appreciation and teaching methods.The author puts forward a series of targeted teaching strategies such as analyzing imagery,perceiving the artistic conception and combining poetry,history,sound and painting,so as to help high school students improve their comprehensive ability in the process of learning graceful poetry.This paper takes Chinese textbook of PEP edition as an example,aiming to find great values and put forward specific teaching strategy to graceful teaching according to the relevant requirements of the new Chinese curriculum standard.This paper is expected to provide certain references for teachers who engaged in teaching.Besides,this paper can help high school students appreciate graceful poetry,improve the language expression and expand emotional ability of thinking,which is conductive to appreciating the artistic charm of the Chinese excellent traditional culture,promoting cultural self-confidence and inheriting Chinese civilization.
