As a basic survival skill,swimming is increasingly valued by schools and society.Tsinghua University stipulates that starting from the 2017 undergraduate freshmen,swimming will be linked to graduation.Peking University,Xiamen University and other universities have included swimming in compulsory courses in recent years.These measures are designed to enable college students to master swimming skills,but for some college students it is passive learning.The effect of traditional teaching method is not good.Therefore,it is necessary to explore more effective teaching methods.This paper mainly uses the literature method,the questionnaire survey method,mathematical statistics method,teaching the experiment method,expert interview method and other research methods.Takingthe implementation of layered teaching method in swimming elective course as the research object.Choose two swimming elective classes of Mudanjiang normal university in the sophomore year of college for 14 weeks of experimental teaching,the experimental class uses the layered teaching method,and the comparative class uses the traditional teaching methods.Compare the effects of the two teaching modes on the physical fitness,swimming skills,earning interests and learning outcomes of the students.Provide more scientific and effective teaching methods for college swimming elective course and improve the teaching quality of swimming lessons.The conclusion shows that:(1)Implementing layered teaching is conducive to the mastery and improvement of students' swimming skills.After the experiment,the experimental class freestyle 25 meters test average of 31.22 seconds,and the control class was 34.7 seconds,P < 0.05.There was a significant difference between the two groups.And there are great differences in kicking techniques,stroke and breathing coordination,and movement effects.P<0.01,the experimental class is obviously better than the comparative class.(2)Layered teaching method can significantly improve students' interest in learning.After the experiment,the average number of swimming learning interest tests in the experimental class was 82.71±6.25,and the comparative class was 78.18±6.57,P<0.01.There are very significant differences.(3)Layered teaching method is helpful to improve teaching effect.After the experiment,the teaching effect score of the experimental class was 85.45±6.55,and that of the comparative class was 78.36±6.59.There are very significant differences.(4)Layered teaching method and traditional teaching method influence on student's physical quality four indicators there is no significant difference,but after the experiment are small amplitude increase students' physical quality.Therefore,it is effective and feasible to apply the layered teaching method in college swimming elective courses,and it's worth promoting.
