Research On Digital Academic Reading Behavior Of College Students

Reading is an important means and means for human beings to acquire knowledge and enhance wisdom,and is also an important way to promote the progress of human civilization.Under the background of reading for all,with the development of information technology and the popularity of electronic devices,college students are increasingly using digital devices such as mobile phones and computers for digital reading.Academic reading is an important part of college students' reading.It is an important way and means to improve academic level,accumulate subject knowledge and understand the frontier of the subject.It also helps college students to expand their academic horizons,cultivate scientific research consciousness and enhance academic quality.This study attempts to understand the current academic reading situation of college students in the digital environment,analyze the academic reading behaviour of college students based on electronic equipment,understand the characteristics of academic reading behaviour,and understand the law of academic reading behaviour.The conclusions of the study hope to help college students to understand and improve their academic reading behaviour,and help teachers and schools to better cultivate the academic reading literacy in the digital environment of college students.This paper firstly combs the research results of reading behaviour,digital reading behaviour and academic reading behaviour related topics,constructs the digital academic reading behaviour framework of college students,and designs the questionnaire based on the research framework.From the three dimensions of digital academic reading seeking behaviour,digital academic reading utilization behaviour and digital academic reading communication behaviour,this paper investigates the characteristics of digital academic reading behaviour of college students.The paper analyzes the behavioral characteristics of digital academic reading of college students by investigating the retrieval behaviour,selection behaviour,acquisition behaviour,browsing behaviour,reading operation behaviour,reading evaluation,interactive discussion,sharing communication and personal comment of digital academic reading behaviour.The paper also compares the differences in the characteristics of academic reading behaviour between college students of different majors and grades through the chi-square test.The research results show that college students' academic reading has strong utilitarianism,and has strong academic reading ability but lacks communication,reading behaviour is random and lacks deep thinking,and the overall appearance is shallow reading situation.The thesis also analyzes the main factors influencing the digital academic reading of college students,and puts forward some suggestions on the optimization of college students' digital academic reading behaviour from the aspects of college students' academic reading education guidance,campus digital reading environment optimization and library digital academic resource integration and optimization.
