The cultivation of thinking ability in junior high school history teaching is an important goal of history teaching,and also an important subject of pedagogy and psychology research in recent years.Through the cultivation of thinking ability,students can grasp the correct concept of history,learn to use the basic viewpoints and methods of historical materialism,and form the analysis,comparison and comprehensive strategy in history learning.In the process of learning history,only when students have the corresponding level of historical thinking ability,can they correctly analyze and evaluate historical figures and events;can they learn from history,guide their actions by recognizing and summarizing the laws of historical development,and make a scientific prediction of the process and trend of social development,which inherits excellent historical and cultural traditions for junior high school students.It is of great significance to set up a lofty ideal of life.Based on the history classroom teaching in junior middle school,supported by relevant pedagogical and psychological knowledge,and based on the investigation of the current situation of the cultivation of the thinking ability of the history subject in three schools in Huainan City,Anhui Province,this paper combines the author's own teaching practice,through literature research,case analysis,questionnaire survey,interview and other methods to study the students' thinking ability in the process of history teaching in junior middle school.The cultivation of strength has been preliminarily explored.In addition to the introduction and research conclusion,it is divided into five parts,the specific contents are as follows:The first part is an overview of thinking ability in junior high school history teaching.This paper mainly discusses the definition of the related concepts of thinking ability,the theoretical basis of the study,the psychological characteristics of junior high school students,the thinking characteristics and the objectives of cultivating historical thinking ability,and the necessity of cultivating thinking ability in junior high school history teaching.The second part is about the current situation test,investigation and analysis of the cultivation of thinking ability in junior high school history teaching.Taking the teachers and students of three middle schools in Huainan City,Anhui Province as the research object,this paper conducts Student tests and questionnaires,student group interviews(symposiums)and teacher interviews.With the help of relevant data and interview records,it preliminarily understands the current situation of thinking ability cultivation in history teaching of junior middle schools in this region,finds out the causes of the problems,and puts forward countermeasures.The third part is the principle of cultivating thinking ability in junior high school history teaching.Combining with specific teaching cases,this paper focuses on the basic principle,the principle of subjectivity,the principle of combining theory from history with theory of history,and the principle of gradual progress.The fourth part is the method of cultivating thinking ability in junior high school history teaching.Combining with the author's daily teaching examples,this paper elaborates on the development of historical thinking ability by using teaching content and choosing teaching means.The fifth part is about the problems that should be paid attention to in the cultivation of thinking ability in junior middle school history teaching.Taking the problems encountered by the author in teaching as an example and combining with his own feelings,this paper makes an analysis and Reflection on four aspects: facing exam-oriented education correctly,improving teachers' thinking ability,getting rid of thinking stereotypes,and overcoming "multimedia dependence".In summary,in order to meet the basic requirements of training high-quality talents in the 21 st century,we must renew our educational concepts and attach importance to the cultivation of students' thinking ability,which has very important theoretical and practical value in the current history teaching in junior high schools.
