Among the many literary genres,novels have always been loved by students.But when it comes to novel teaching,it is a different matter.With the implementation of the official textbooks,has this situation changed?The author has investigated and analyzed the current situation of the novel teaching and found that the main reason for the current problem of novel teaching being null is that the teaching content is not good enough.Most teachers care more about teaching methods than teaching content,but they don't know that teaching content is the key to novel teaching.Only when the teacher first determines the correct teaching content and then chooses the appropriate teaching method,the teaching will be good.Therefore,the author has set the thesis in the research content and methods of the Chinese novels teaching in middle school and hopes to help the mainstream teachers in the selection of teaching content and methods.This paper is mainly composed of three chapters:The first chapter mainly analyzes the various situations and problems that appear in the teaching of the novels through questionnaire surveys and teaching plan analysis.First,the preparation of the investigation should be carried out,including the purpose,object,method and content of the questionnaire surveys,the results of the reception and investigation,as well as the extensive collection of various novel teaching methods.Second,through a detailed analysis of student questionnaires and teaching methods,the current status of student novel learning and the situation of novel teaching are obtained.Finally,from the result and cause,the analysis comes up with many reasons for the status of novel teaching we have now.The second chapter aims to provide a comprehensive basis and feasible methods for determining the content of novel teaching.For example,refer to the education curriculum standards,the content of the novel teaching is determined,so that the teaching can stand on firm basis;the teaching content is determined according to the author's intention of the textbook,the introduction of each chapter,the deep thinking after class,etc.,so that the teaching is comprehensive and complete;Refer to the genre of the novel and the characteristics of the novel to determine the teaching content,so that the teaching has more characteristics;and analyze the most easily overlooked academic situation to determine the teaching content,so that the teaching is more targeted.With the correct and enriched teaching content,it also requires a variety of teaching strategies to be implemented,both are important.Therefore,the main content of the third chapter is the strategy to enrich and correct the teaching content.The first thing to do is to improve the teacher's qualities,including knowledge quality and ability quality.With these qualities,teachers can easily answer students'questions and choose their teaching contents.It also includes the construction of a novel dialogue teaching model and some specific teaching methods,such as clever introduction,main problem solving,extended reading in and out of class,and so on.Teachers should philosophically advocate the combination of theory and practice,so this paper also added a large number of specific examples in the discussion,hoping to better help mainstream teachers to practice and implement the correction and enrichment of teaching content.
