The "Compiled Edition" textbook has been put into use nationwide since September 2016,and has become an important research object for current education and teaching workers.With the in-depth research of educational scholars on the unified textbooks of primary school Chinese,it is found that after-school exercises can be used as teaching resources to participate in teaching activities.The "Compiled Edition" elementary school Chinese textbook includes 19 novel genre texts from the middle section(grades 3-4),accounting for about 7% of the textbook.The reading and learning of novels can enrich teachers and students' experiences of multiple life,and make their life perceptions more three-dimensional and diversified.At the same time,the after-school exercises in the selection of novels have also become a key factor in promoting the achievement of the teaching goals of novel teaching and improving the effectiveness of novel teaching.But at present,how to effectively use after-school exercises in the classroom to maximize their value has become a teaching problem for teachers.Therefore,it is of great significance to systematically study the after-school exercises of the selected essays of Chinese novels in the unified edition of the primary school,and to investigate its use.This article researches the setting and current situation of the exercises after class of the selected Chinese novels in the unified edition of the primary school.The research is divided into five parts: The first part is the introduction.Introduced the reasons for selecting the topic,defined the core concepts,and reviewed relevant literature.The second part is the compilation concept and teaching requirements of the exercises after class of the selected texts of the primary school Chinese novels.It mainly conducts research from the statistics of question volume,question type classification,and investigation content analysis,and then puts forward teaching suggestions.The third part is to use the questionnaire survey method,the document analysis method and the interview method to understand the current front-line teaching of the teachers and students' use of the exercises after the compilation of the novel essays,find the problems in the use process and carry out Attribution analysis.The fourth part is the suggestion on the use of exercises after class in the compilation of the primary school Chinese textbook novel essay selection.The main points of each part of this paper are as follows:After investigation and research,it is found that the current problems in the use of after-school exercises in frontline teaching are: most teachers are only teaching textbooks rather than using them,lack a comprehensive understanding of the various systems of the textbooks,and ignore the teaching resources Development and utilization and research on after-class exercises of different styles;the motivation of using novels to select after-class exercises tends to be utilitarian,and the method of use is relatively simple;in addition,the pattern of teachers' use of after-school exercises is fixed,which is in line with the students' learning In the process of using after-school exercises,students lack the awareness of independent inquiry and rely on the teacher's explanation and guidance.Next,we conducted attribution analysis for the problems in use,and found that most of the teachers currently teach based on experience,and the insufficient attention to the curriculum standards led to the in-depth study of different styles after class exercises,and was affected by the pressure of exam-oriented education.Makes the way teachers use after-school exercises tends to be utilitarian.And because of the tight teaching time and heavy teaching tasks,teachers will ignore the after-school exercises to a certain extent,and the use mode is relatively simple.In addition,teachers emphasize the teaching of knowledge and ignore the important role of novel after-school exercises in improving students' ability and emotional edification.Based on this,the following suggestions are put forward: for example,study the curriculum standard to make teachers' teaching closely follow the goals and requirements of the new curriculum reform;explore the value of the practice questions after class selection of novels,and innovate the method of using the practice questions after class.Teachers should also keep up with the pace of teaching reform,change the mode of use,and devote themselves to creating effective classrooms.Finally,expand the function of the exercises after class of novels,enhance students' ability to taste novels,enrich the spiritual world of students,and give play to the unique educational value of exercises after class of novels.
