The Use Of Experiential Learning Among Unemployed Youth In Urban Areas

Youth unemployment is a common problem in China's cities and towns.Employment service is one of the main contents of urban social development.In recent years,China's assistance system and contents for urban unemployed youth have been continuously promoted,which to some extent alleviates the unemployment problem of urban youth in China.Although a large number of urban jobs have been created with the rapid economic development since the reform and opening up,there is still a lot of room for improvement in solving the employment problem in China.Social workers need to reduce employment services to "towns".Only towns and cities are the closest to young people's needs of "being close to home",only towns and cities are the closest to the "fastest" matching distance of youth employment,and only towns and cities know the "truest" ideas of enterprises and young people.By referring to the existing literature,this study summarized and used David cooper's experiential learning circle for reference in the practical application of social workers' employment services.Set according to the research plan and project service crowd,the final confirmed to participate in the team of 10 researchers,has carried out six period "set sail" group activities,the experiential learning into the activities carried out by the group,and combining the feedback questionnaire,group members of the team member feedback form self evaluation form,group activities,group satisfaction feedback form and subsequent follow up service assessment tools to evaluate the whole group activities,in order to obtain the effect of group activities.Through the evaluation of the group work,this study has achieved some results.First,experiential learning and group work have something in common in terms of theoretical basis and work objectives.They can be integrated in the process of service development,and they can learn from and apply to each other.Second,experiential learning has obvious effects on the employment group service.The application of experiential learning can improve the participation of group members in activities and the actual effect of group activities.Finally,the integration of experiential learning and group work is of great practical significance.The integration of experientiallearning and group work can provide a new perspective for social workers to carry out employment services and broaden the application scope of experiential learning theory.
