Folk art is the exquisite folk artwork with extremely important artistic value and heritage value created by working people with the commonest raw material for the convenience of living and the beautifying of the environment in spare time.However,with the progress of the times and the development of economic globalization,other countries' culture has gradually appeared in front of people,attracting young people.Therefore,folk art should be transformed into the curriculum resource for the effective dissemination and development in class.In the new curriculum,it is also explicitly mentioned to make full use of natural culture and social resource and develop the local art curriculum resource actively.It can be seen that students are also encouraged to protect and inherit the excellent folk resource,and the cultivation of students' awareness of the protection of folk art and cultural heritage is emphasized in the new curriculum.In the research,the rich Three Gorges folk art was taken as the curriculum resource.The Literature Survey Method,the Questionnaire Survey Method,and the Case Research Method were adopted mainly to investigate the folk art teaching and the interest of students in the local folk art in the Middle School Art Class in Wanzhou District,Chongqing.According to the actual situation of the local school,the Three Gorges folk art was selected,classified and integrated,the reliable way of folk art into the campus was studied and the characteristic folk art activity was carried out."Getting Close to the Liangping Painting on A Bamboo Curtain" and "My Shadow Play" were designed mainly for teaching.The Three Gorges folk art was taken as the main research object,which was derived from my love and persistence of the folk culture in my hometown.Through the research,it was hoped to further enrich the local art curriculum resource,promote the inheritance and development of folk art,improve the sense of honor and national feelings of middle school students and help them form a good habit of inheriting the traditional Chinese culture.
