| Rural education in Three Gorges Reservoir Area of Chongqing takes important roles in ecological economy development, transfer of labor force resources and the processes of urbanization as well as sustainable development of society. On the basis of literature of rural education,the writer has carried out an investigation in the form of questionnaire,interview and so on about rural education problems in this area .Then analyse and carry out logical argumentation about education problems. Find problems of rural education in this area are that basic education reveals maladjustment to the man's need; vocational education is not adapt to social development ; farmers' education is not wide and its goals are unitary.The writer made his suggestion of countermeasures according to the need of reality,(1) The teachers in Three Gorges Reservoir Area of Chongqing improve their levels of competence. Because the nation's the rise and decline relies on education, education's key rests on the teachers.(2) Perfect the system of education investment ,distribute reasonably education resources.Economy is basic .Economy is one of education development conditions .Money for Education investment is reasonably shared by the responsibility. Government should undertake more responsibility of compulsory education than family and society.(3) Strengthen basic education. Basic education is important in society. Its social benefits are huge and it is basic in other education.(4) Regulate structure of vocational education. Vocational education is very important in changing industry structure . It can't be lacked for accelerating social development better.(5) Improve farmers' education. Farmers are main body in rural society. Fanners' education is in contact with the modernizations of rural area.(6) Develop actively network education of rural area. Network education is shortcut of rural education development and auxiliary boost of rural economic and social development.
