The Geography Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)implemented in 2018 elaborates on the composition of core literacy.How to improve students' core geographic literacy has become a common problem faced by all geographic teachers and geographic teaching researchers.Whether it is the need of the development of information technology or the need of students' own development,it is necessary to combine the cultivation of students' geographic core literacy with the cultivation of information technology literacy.Therefore,it is necessary to apply "3S" technology to geographic teaching to cultivate students' geographic core literacy.Based on the educational theory of pedagogy and the educational function of "3S" technology,this paper investigates and analyses the current situation of teachers' application of "3S" technology in X and Y high schools in Zhe Jiang Province by using questionnaire survey method,compares and analyses the teaching effect of using "3S" technology and traditional teaching core literacy,and expounds the effectiveness of using "3S" technology in teaching students' core geographic literacy and in training students' geography.Practical ability has incomparable advantages over traditional teaching.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part elaborates the research background,research significance,research status at home and abroad,research methods and technical routes and existing problems.The second part introduces related concepts and analyses the theoretical basis of using "3S" technology in teaching to cultivate students' core literacy.The third part is to understand teachers' application of "3S" technology through questionnaire survey.The current situation of technical teaching and students' understanding of "3S";Part IV,according to the characteristics of "3S" technology and the requirements of geographical core literacy,formulates strategies to cultivate students' geographical core literacy by using "3S" technology teaching;Part V,comparing traditional teaching with the application of "3S" technology teaching,analyses the differences between the two in the cultivation of core literacy,and demonstrates the application of "3S" technology teaching.The sixth part summarizes the achievements,shortcomings and prospects of the research.
