The integration of medicine and engineering is beneficial for the in-depth exploration of human health and life science,and has become an important way to lead scientific and technological progress.The demand for multiple talents in the interdisciplinary field of medicine and engineering is increasing.However,the talents cultivation of medicine-engineering interdisciplinary crossing in China is carried on without a remarkable effect.Through on-site research and interviews,the study finds that the lack of integrated management,the lack of matching between the training process and training objectives,and the unreasonable use of resources are ubiquitous in the interdisciplinary training of medicine and engineering in China.The study selects four mature research universities in America and Europe to conduct case studies,sums up the constituent elements of the mechanism from the cases,and establishes a model of the cultivation mechanism of interdisciplinary graduate students based on the relationship between elements.Aimed at cultivating medicine-engineering interdisciplinary talents,the model promotes the cultivation by the collective effect of integrated management mechanism,support and guarantee mechanism and cultivating process mechanism.According to the case study,the study extracts the dimension of the integrated management and the dimension of the training process,and thus divides the cultivation of medicine-engineering interdisciplinary graduates into four modes.Based on the training mechanism model,the study proposes corresponding improving strategies for the training of the domestic medicine-engineering interdisciplinary graduates towards different training modes.The contribution of this study is to build a brand-new model of postgraduate cultivating mechanism pointing at specific areas of medicine-engineering interdisciplinary crossing,and come up with improving strategies for different training modes,which provides theoretical and practical guidance for research universities to promote postgraduate cultivation of medicine-engineering interdisciplinary crossing.
