Improving awareness of curriculum exploration and accelerating the process of building the curriculum system of schools,which is not only the inevitable outcome of the new curriculum reformation and development,but also the certain way of schools seeking characteristic and connotative development.As an emerging form of education,STEAM education is a new exploration of the cultivation of innovative talents in the United States and other developed countries.In the trend of mass entrepreneurship and innovation,cultivating compound innovative talents is an important task of education in our country.Based on the actual situation of school curriculum construction and STEAM education development in China,this study screens out the core concepts and essences of STEAM education that is suitable for China's education development,then integrates it into the framework of the school curriculum system.Focusing on the students,disciplines,and learning positions,the curriculum system under the STEAM concept will be built to integrate students' life experience into the curriculum,through the integration of disciplines,students' thinking innovative ability will be enhanced.which will give full play to the important role of the curriculum in promoting people's all-round developmentThe content of this study is mainly divided into the following five aspects:The first part is an introduction.The compound talents requirement,knowledge isolation and the students' demands of all-round development are the catalysts for construction of the school curriculum system based on STEAM.For further understanding the development and trends of STEAM education and STEAM curriculum,the literature review of relevant research at home and abroad had been done.At the same time,the core concepts such as STEAM education,curriculum and curriculum system are defined.Then the value and research significance of the school curriculum system construction based on STEAM education concept are expounded,and the research ideas and methods are explained.The second part is the theoretical foundation of the school curriculum system construction based on STEAM education concept.This chapter focuses on combing and summarizing the development of STEAM education,and has carried out the core concepts and value orientations of it.The educational idea of STEAM educatin is presented and the importance of the school's STEAM-based school curriculum system construction is reflected.Then,based on the core concept of STEAM education the curriculum framework is constructed:curriculum objectives focusing on comprehensive ability training,curriculum content focusing on multi-directional integration,curriculum implementation emphasizing situational practice and curriculum evaluation aiming to meet diversified needs.The third part is the realistic survey and review of the school curriculum system based on the STEAM concept.This chapter introduces the selection,overview and survey methods of the sample schools,and analyzes the various elements of the sample school curriculum system in detail and summarizes the overall situation.The analysis results show that there exist many problems in the process of sample schools'curriculum system construction,such as a single narrow curriculum goal,fragmentation of the course content,the implementation of the curriculum reform and the focus of the curriculum evaluation,and the reasons for this situation are various.The main reasons for diversity are the influnce of the examination culture,the lack of school resources,and the lack of awareness of the curriculum.The fourth part is the design of the school curriculum system under the STEAM concept.The content of this chapter firstly explains the basis of the construction of the school curriculum system under the STEAM concept from the three levels of society,students and schools.It also points out the factors and starting position of the curriculum construction.Secondly,the development of STEAM education advocates the combination of science and humanities.The practical viewpoint of returning to life and the logical structure of the school curriculum system construction require that the school curriculum system under the STEAM concept should follow the four basic principles of authenticity,science,cohesiveness and dynamics.Finally,based on the above principles construct the school curriculum system under STEAM concept from curriculum objectives,curriculum content,curriculum structure,curriculum implementation,curriculum evaluation and curriculum management.Concretely speaking,the school curricum system based on STEAM aims to establish a people-oriented curriculum objectives,select integrated curriculum content,optimize the comprehensive and balanced curriculum structure Promote the implementation of cooperation and win-win courses,achieve rich curriculum evaluation and conduct network stratified curriculum management.The fifth part is the path to ensure the construction of the STEAM concept curriculum system.The STEAM concept of the school curriculum system requires different levels protection in construction process.This study takes into account the current situation of the school curriculum system,forms the guarantee community from national,local and home school level,then achieves a macro,medium and micro view security system for the construction of the school curriculum system under the STEAM concept.
