Teachers are the most important factor of all educational factors,and their words and actions may have a profound impact on students.With the improvement of relevant laws and regulations in our country and the strengthening of social supervision,the phenomenon of corporal punishment by teachers has been decreasing,but the phenomenon of language violence by teachers has been increasing.As the representative and communicator of human civilization,teachers’ language should be harmonious,decent and nice.However,due to the influence of teachers themselves,schools,society and other factors,the phenomenon of language violence among teachers occurs from time to time.Teacher’s language violence will have a negative effect on the physical and mental health of students and even cause serious harm,especially for primary school students,because they are young and their physical and mental development is not sound,teacher’s language violence is particularly serious harm to them.Due to the hidden and lagging characteristics of teacher’s language violence,schools,parents and even the whole society pay little attention to it,and there are relatively few relevant studies.Therefore,it is of great practical significance and practical value to carry out research on the language violence of primary school teachers.This paper conducts a comprehensive survey on the current situation of language violence among primary school teachers by means of literature,questionnaire,interview and observation.Through the investigation of some primary schools,it is found that the phenomenon of language violence by primary school teachers is quite common in the campus and causes serious harm to the physical and mental health of pupils.The causes of teachers’ language violence mainly come from four aspects: teachers,schools,society and the government.The factors of school are that the exam-oriented education is emphasized,the construction of teacher ethics is not perfect,the phenomenon of language violence and the lag of management are ignored.Social factors mainly include the influence of traditional educational concepts and the complexity of educational objects.The main factor of the government is that the relevant laws and regulations and the supervision and complaint mechanism are not perfect.Based on the above problems and reasons,it is suggested that the following aspects should be improved: teachers should mainly improve their own quality and professional theoretical literacy,improve their own language artistry;Schools are mainly to strengthen the construction of teacher ethics,create a good campus environment,reduce the pressure of teachers,pay attention to teachers mental health;The social aspect mainly includes strengthening the supervision of public opinion,the publicity of scientific education idea;The government mainly includes raising the salary level of teachers,improving relevant laws and regulations and detailing educational punishment measures.
