| The student cadre system runs through the primary school,the middle school to the university,which has important function to the school work.College classes are both learning organizations and administrative organizations.At present,some members of our college student cadre group show strong bureaucracy,competing for power and gaining interests,and so on,which leads people to question the legitimacy of the group.Class cadres are the powerful people in the class organization,and they have more influence on the formation of class style than ordinary class members,so how to train class cadres is a difficult problem in front of counselors,class teachers and school administrators.Starting from the theory of core competencies,this paper makes a case analysis of Chongqing Engineering College,collects data by using self-made questionnaire and interview,and focuses on the problems of what core competencies the university student class cadre should have,how the current situation of core accomplishment of university student class cadre,what shortcomings exist and why.On the basis of answering these questions,the author will put forward some suggestions and countermeasures to promote the development of class cadres’ core competencies from the national,school,student and social levels based on the theory of all-round development,quality education and core literacy education.This study is divided into six parts.In addition to the first part "introduction" and the sixth part "conclusion ",the second part is the " theoretical basis ",which briefly describes the basic theory based on this research,including the theory of human all-round development,the theory of quality education and the theory of core competencies education,to lay the foundation for the development of research.The third part is "the present situation and problems of the core literacy of the class cadres in colleges and universities ".Through the questionnaire and interview survey of the teachers and class cadres engaged in class management,the following results are obtained:(1)the core competency model of the class cadres in colleges and universities is composed of four first-level indicators and fourteen second-level indicators.The first-level indicators are political literacy,moral literacy,management literacy and psychological literacy.The second-level indicators are loyalty to the Party,love of the country,pursuit of progress,sense of responsibility,sense of team,spirit of service,sense of cooperation,ability of communication,ability of execution,ability of innovation,self-confidence,ability of resisting pressure,ability of self-adjustment,ability of balancing work and study.(2)As far as the overall situation of the class cadre group of the students in Chongqing Institute of Engineering is concerned,less than 30% of the teachers interviewed found the overall situation satisfactory,while nearly 60% of the class cadres interviewed expressed satisfaction.Correspondingly,there are similar differences in the evaluation of most specific indicators between teachers and class cadres.Nevertheless,the evaluation of the two categories of respondents on the four indicators of class cadres’ pursuit of progress,responsibility consciousness,innovation consciousness and self-adjustment ability is on the low side,indicating that they all agree that the class cadres ’performance in the above four aspects is relatively poor.The fourth part is "the influence and attribution analysis of the problem of class cadres in colleges and universities ".The two groups tend to think that the class cadres lack lofty ideals,lose political enthusiasm,have a weak sense of responsibility,less dedication,will not bring forth the old and will not be able to regulate their own negative emotions.In addition,30% of the teachers and class cadres interviewed said that there was bureaucracy and enthusiasm for fame and fortune among the class cadres.The research shows that the popular values of egoism lead to the leading causes of the above problems.The school does not attach importance to the training of class cadres,the prevailing consumerism culture and the only child status of students have a great impact on the above problems.And there are More than 40 percent of the students surveyed thought the improper selection of class cadres was also an important reason.The fifth part is "the path of improving the core literacy of the class cadres in colleges and universities ".This study holds that the deficiency and serious problems of the core literacy of the class cadres in colleges and universities can be solved from three levels: school,teacher and student.Schools should carry out the core literacy education of the class cadres from the two dimensions of concept and system design.Teachers should change the concept of management,put student autonomy into practice,and try to explore the feasible ways and methods to cultivate the core accomplishment of class cadres.Students should change their own values,take class masters as their own,and actively improve their core literacy. |
