Group cooperative learning is one of the main forms of cooperative learning,and it is also a form of learning strongly advocated by the new curriculum.At present,group cooperative learning is a teaching theory generally accepted in many countries and a widely used teaching method.Practice has proved that this teaching method has unique advantages that cannot be replaced by other teaching methods in terms of improving students’ academic performance or enhancing students’ sense of cooperation.If students can use this learning method correctly,they can not only stimulate their independent learning ability,but also promote the development of their non-cognitive psychological quality and the improvement of social awareness and social communication ability.However,there are still some problems in the implementation of learning methods.These problems severely restrict the promotion and implementation of new educational concepts and methods,and also greatly affect the learning effect and quality development of students.In order to give full play to the advantages of group cooperative learning,this article conducted an in-depth investigation and analysis of the status of the cooperative learning of the senior mathematics group in the Y district of G city,combined with relevant theories and the actual situation of the cooperative learning of the elementary school senior mathematics group,and found the existence of Problems and exploretheir causes,and then put forward feasible suggestions and countermeasures.This research is based on the group dynamics theory,communication teaching theory,etc.,using a combination of questionnaires,classroom observations,and interviews.From the four dimensions of group cooperation learning consciousness,form,content and evaluation,an in-depth investigation was conducted on the current situation of the cooperation in the upper grade mathematics group of two elementary schools in Y district of G city.Through the analysis of the survey data,the problems in the cooperative learning of the upper grade mathematics group in elementary schools are prominently manifested as: the students’ cooperation consciousness is not strong,insufficient cooperation time,the group division standard is single,the phenomenon of "small authority" in the group is serious,and the rules in the group are not clear,unreasonable content,and incomplete evaluation.In view of the problems in group cooperative learning,this study further analyzes the survey data and finds that the problems in the implementation of the cooperative learning in the upper grades of elementary school mathematics can be attributed to the following aspects.Restrictions on the concept and ability of students,as well as the constraints of students’ own abilities and growth laws.Therefore,in order to improve the effectiveness of group cooperative learning in the mathematics classroom of the upper grades of primary schools,schools should give correct positioning to group cooperative learning;teachers should give fullplay to the leading role of group cooperative learning;students should develop a sense of ownership of group cooperative learning.
