The trial use of the Chinese teaching materials for senior high school unified in 2019 shows that the concept of Chinese core competencies proposed in the Senior High School Chinese Curriculum 2017 has been further implemented in actual teaching.With concise language,rich emotion and profound culture,poetry is of great significance for the formation and development of Chinese core competencies.In view of the old mode of poetry teaching and the superficial understanding of the tasks of literature reading and writing,the current poetry teaching strategy and effect have no significant change from those of the old teaching materials.It is of practical significance to study the characteristics of poetry selection and arrangement in the new teaching materials and explore the poetry teaching strategy based on the core competencies.The thesis consists of three parts,i.e.,the introduction,main part and conclusion.The introduction part is mainly about the research background and current situation.The research background focuses on the introduction of the concept of Chinese core competencies,the use of the unified new teaching materials and the importance of poetry teaching.The current situation summarizes the main viewpoints and conclusions of the literature from three perspectives,i.e.,"core competencies and Chinese core competencies","Chinese core competencies and poetry teaching",and "unified teaching materials and poetry teaching".The main part consists of three chapters.The first chapter mainly discusses the relationship between Chinese core competencies and poetry teaching.On the basis of clarifying the Chinese core competencies and characteristics of poetry style,it points out the guidance of Chinese core competencies on poetry teaching and the promotion of poetry teaching to Chinese core competencies.The second chapter finds out the current situation of poetry teaching and learning of teachers and students through questionnaires,and analyzes the current problems and causes.The third chapter puts forward the poetry teaching strategy based on the core competencies to solve the current problems,including to analyze the selection and arrangement of poetry in the senior high school Chinese teaching materials,to formulate the task-driven level sequence of poetry teaching,and to organize and promote the task-based activities of poetry.Through the analysis of teaching materials and the promotion of tasks and activities,the goal of cultivating students' Chinese core competencies can be reached.
