Teaching academic ability is the necessary quality and ability for teachers to carry out teaching work according to academic research,guided by the academic concept of teaching.It is the demonstration and integration of teaching ability and academic ability,and it is an important measure of teaching quality and teacher teaching level in colleges and universities.As an important supplement to higher education,the level of teachers' academic ability in teaching also affects the quality of private colleges and universities.Therefore,it is of great significance to attach importance to and develop the academic ability of private undergraduate teachers to improve the teaching quality of private colleges and universities and promote the development of private teachers' teaching.The important step of the thesis is to first comb the research literature of the previous person spending on teaching academic ability,to explore the theoretical basis of the development of teachers' teaching academic ability,and to extract the elements of the four dimensions of professional knowledge ability,communication and interaction ability,reflection and inquiry ability and innovative application ability,and to construct the framework of the academic ability of analytical teaching.Then,from the outside support of colleges and universities and the individual pursuit of teachers to elaborate the teachers teaching academic ability development factors.In order to find out the problems and reasons for the development of teachers' teaching academic ability in Shanghai's private undergraduate colleges and universities,the thesis takes six private undergraduate colleges in Shanghai as an example,and makes an in-depth investigation into the current situation of teachers' teaching academic ability in private undergraduate colleges through questionnaires and interviews.Therefore,try to improve the teaching academic ability of teachers in private undergraduate colleges and universities to put forward rationalization of the proposal.The study found that the level of academic ability of teachers in Shanghai private undergraduate colleges and universities is generally good,but the development of teaching academic ability is not balanced between the various dimensions and the internal development of each dimension.Teachers in private undergraduate colleges and universities attach great importance to the mastery of professional knowledge,but the knowledge of education and teaching is relatively scarce,the degree of teacher communication is limited and the results of teaching reflection are few.The reason is that the teaching academic quality of individual teachers needs to be improved,colleges and universities neglect the needs of teachers,and lack the corresponding protection of teaching academic system.Therefore,for the development of teachers' teaching academic ability in Shanghai's private undergraduate colleges and universities,the following development suggestions are put forward: First,teachers strengthen their academic awareness of teaching and improve their personal quality in an all-round way.Second,private colleges and universities should combine the actual situation of colleges and universities,lead the teaching academic practice,develop teachers' teaching academic ability.
