At present,the professional development and career development of teachers have been paid much attention in the education circle.The primary school period is the key period for the physical and mental growth of students,so the career development of primary school teachers will affect the knowledge learning and personality development of pupils to a great extent.Especially for the new primary school teachers,because of the individual in the early stages of career development,facing all kinds of adaptive problems and great pressure,on the one hand,more need new teachers to make scientific planning and design of his own career,on the other hand,schools should also attaches great importance to new teachers' career management,provide support and help for new teacher growth.It is of great practical significance to pay attention to the smooth development of the career of new teachers in primary schools.This study firstly summarizes the theories of teachers' career planning and management at home and abroad by reading a large number of relevant literatures.Secondly,the author selected 174 new teachers from 9 public primary schools in Shanghai and conducted a questionnaire survey.The main content of the questionnaire survey research,including the present situation of the new primary school teachers' career planning,mainly from the self cognition,cognitive,goal programming,relationships and satisfaction level investigation and the present situation of the primary school new teachers' career management,including awareness,support measures,improves identity and improve the system,etc.Thirdly,in order to explore the problems and causes in the career planning and management of new primary school teachers,the author selected 6 new teachers and 2 school leaders of H primary school to conduct interviews.Based on the results of questionnaire survey and interview,this study believes that the main problems in the career planning and management of new teachers in primary schools are as follows: in terms of the career planning of new teachers,the occupational values of new teachers are largely affected by material factors;New teachers are not comprehensive in their career planning;New teachers lack theoretical knowledge about career planning;New teachers' career planning ignores school factors;New teachers have low job satisfaction.From the perspective of the career management of new teachers in primary schools,the school lacks the training for the career planning of new teachers.Schools lack of effective incentives for the careerdevelopment of new teachers;Schools lack effective feedback mechanisms for managing new teachers' careers.In view of the above problems,this study tries to put forward corresponding countermeasures and Suggestions from the following aspects:for new teachers,they should establish a reasonable career view and set up lofty career ideal;Develop reasonable career goals and plans;Actively learn about career planning;Pay attention to school policy,adjust personal plan timely;Strengthen psychological adjustment and improve occupational happiness.For schools and education authorities,the first step is to improve the training mechanism for new teachers' career development.Secondly,schools should strengthen the professional guidance and training of new teachers' career planning;School administrators should attach importance to the emotional stimulation of new teachers;Schools should improve the teacher career evaluation and feedback system.
