Expository text is a kind of style to introduce and explain the essential characteristics of things,which is widely used in daily life.With the development of the information age,rapid access to information requires rational thinking ability and scientific and rigorous attitude.A comprehensive,accurate and in-depth understanding of the meaning expressed by information will become the core literacy that people must have in the future.Expository text teaching plays an important role and significance in the cultivation of students' core literacy.At the same time,there are great changes in the selection and unit arrangement of expository texts in the unified edition of junior middle school Chinese textbooks,so there should be new discussions on expository text teaching.However,expository text in the actual teaching process did not get the attention of teachers and students.Through investigation,the author finds that there are several problems in the teaching of expository text: first,teachers emphasize the importance of "knowledge",but ignore the ability of students' lifelong development;second,the types of expository text test questions have obvious solidification phenomenon,the ways of writing questions are the same,and even the test points rarely change.Under the middle school test baton,it is difficult for teachers to create expository text teaching New;third,students are not interested in expository writing.Because of the stylistic characteristics of expository writing,it may be a little boring compared with narrative writing.In addition,the teaching contents and methods of teachers are simple and rigid,so the reform of expository writing teaching is imminent.In view of this,the author combines the core literacy requirements,the characteristics of Chinese subject and the characteristics of students' physical and mental development to explore the teaching path of expository text,and puts forward suggestions: first,to stimulate students' interest in learning expository text,so that they are willing to learn and take the initiative to learn;second,from the four perspectives of language construction,thinking training,aesthetic appreciation and cultural heritage,respectively,to discuss the language of expository text,structure,emotion and cultural background are analyzed,and various methods are adopted to cultivate students' core literacy.This paper takes Yu Yingchao's innovative teaching design as an example to illustrate that some teachers' expository teaching design can reflect the core literacy concept and learn from the excellent teaching experience;then,the author designs a expository teaching case and reflects on whether it meets the requirements of core literacy.Through case analysis,according to the proposed teaching methods to show the process of teaching practice,trying to combine theory and practice,to provide inspiration and reference for front-line teachers.
