Executive function is a collection of various cognitive functions of the brain, mainly including three sub-functions of inhibition, refresh and conversion. It can process, control and coordinate various cognitive processes, optimize human cognitive response patterns,so the brain can make appropriate reaction.Studies have shown that exercise have a significant impact on children's executive function.Based on this theory, how to improve the effect of sports to promote the development of children's executive function has become an important topic in psychological science, education science and neuroscience research. This article explores the effect of different intensity intermittent exercise interventions on children's executive function and its time-course benefits, provides an effective means for sports to promote children's executive function development, and also provides an empirical reference for the formulation of related exercise prescriptions. This article uses the experimental method, using single-person skipping as an exercise intervention method, randomly grouping according to the rhythm of skipping, using Flanker task,2-back task,More-odd shifting task measurement tools to comprehensively evaluate the effect of exercise on children's executive function and its time course benefit.Experiment 1 investigated the impact of one-time intermittent exercise intervention with different intensities on children's executive function and its delayed benefit. The results showed that:(1)Inhibition function: the high-intensity intermittent group(HIIT group)and the medium-intensity intermittent group(MIIT group)had very significant differences in the response time of the Flanker task at different time points(p <0.001),low intensity There is no significant difference in the response time of the intermittent group(LIIT group)at different time points(p> 0.05);(2)Refresh function: the response time of the 2-back task at different time points in the HIIT group and the LIIT group is not significant Sexual difference(p> 0.05),there is a very significant difference in the response time of the MIIT group at differenttime points(p <0.001);(3)Conversion function: the response of the More-odd shifting task at different time points in the HIIT group does not exist Significant difference(p> 0.05),there is a very significant difference between the response time of the MIIT group and the LIIT group at different time points(p <0.001);(4)More-odd in different experimental groups at 30 minutes after exercise There was a difference in the response time of shifting tasks(p <0.05).Experiment 2 examined the effect of 8-week mid-and high-interval exercise intervention on children's executive function and its time-course benefits. The results showed that:(1)There were significant differences in the response times of the Flanker,2-back,and More-odd shifting tasks between the HIIT group and the MIIT group at different time points(p <0.05);(2)HIIT,There was no significant difference in the response time of the three tasks in the MIIT group(p> 0.05).This study shows that intermittent exercise is an effective exercise method to promote the development of children's executive function. The effect of intermittent exercise on children's executive function and the duration benefit have a certain relationship with exercise intensity and exercise time.Long-term intermediate-intensity intermittent exercise intervention has the best effect on promoting children's executive function.
