In recent years,the monitoring results of the study on the physical health of college students show that the overall physical quality of college students shows a downward trend,especially the poor exercise consciousness of female college students,and the continuous decline of physical fitness;college students who are in the youth period face more and more prominent psychological problems,easy to produce mental illness,causing many adverse consequences.Aiming at the current decline of female college students' physical fitness and potential psychological hidden danger,this paper designed the Hatha yoga training method which is highly related to the flexibility quality,tested the flexibility quality and emotion regulation of 40 female college students of Tianjin Institute of physical Education,and evaluated the intervention effect by means of sitting forward flexion,FMS functional screening and mood state scale.By comparing Hatha Yoga training with the public physical education courses in colleges and universities,we can explore more reasonable and effective means of improving flexibility quality training,so as to better guide physical education teaching and training practice.On the basis of FMS functional screening to detect the poor joint flexibility of female college students,the intervention of 14 weeks Hatha Yoga training program can effectively improve the flexibility quality of female college students,showing that the performance of sitting forward flexion test index and the significant improvement of FMS score,on the other hand,it can effectively improve the FMS functional screening score and detect the improvement of joint flexibility with poor flexibility;It can effectively improve the emotional regulation effect of female college students,which is manifested as reducing the emotional dimension score of female college students' tension,anger and self-related emotion,and significantly improving the emotional score of energy dimension.This study puts forward the following suggestions :(1)The effectiveness of Hatha Yoga training on flexibility and emotion regulation of female college students is verified by design and experiment.It is suggested that Hatha Yoga should be introduced into the physical education curriculum system of colleges and universities as a means to improve the physical and mental health of college students.(2)Since the different design of Hatha Yoga training means may lead to different effects,when introducing Hatha Yoga training into physical education or after-school exercise incolleges and universities,the subjective and objective factors such as the physical and psychological characteristics of the exercisers and the existing sports basis and practice conditions should be taken into account as a whole,and the careful design of the training scheme should be done,and the practice should be optimized continuously according to the implementation effect;(3)This study attempts to introduce Hatha Yoga training into the practice of improving flexibility and emotional regulation of female college students,but there are many ways to develop flexibility and promote emotional regulation.It is hoped that more scholars will actively carry out similar research in order to enrich and perfect the training method system of physical health and mental health promotion of college students.
