| Taking 40 female members of Sifan Yoga Hall in Linfen City as investigation objects,through 16 weeks of intervention in Hatha Yoga exercise,the body composition and body self-esteem were taken as the indexes to evaluate the correlation between physical and mental health of the human body.To explore the effect of Hatha yoga intervention on female members' body self-esteem and body composition in order to provide a better scheme for women to practice Hatha yoga.The subjects agreed that in addition to the Hatha Yoga classes,work and lifestyle at the Yoga Museum four times a week,the experiment was consistent with previous requirements and did not deliberately lose weight or gain weight.During the experiment,the subjects were tested for body composition and investigated by questionnaire before and after the experiment.The experimental instrument used in this study is the Bioelectrical Impedance body composition Tester(body-pass)produced by Korea.Results:(1)Through 16 weeks of Hatha yoga practice,we found that the physical self-worth dimension and physical condition dimension data of female participants' body self-esteem were significantly different(P < 0.01).The data of physical attraction dimension,sports skill dimension and physical quality dimension of body self-esteem were significantly different(P< 0.05).The results show that regular Hatha yoga exercise can improve the level of physical self-esteem of the practitioner in the long run,and make significant changes in the physical self-esteem of the practitioner.(2)After 16 weeks of Hatha yoga practice,it was found that the waist-hip ratio of the female subjects were significantly lower than those of the female subjects(P< 0.01),and there was a significant difference between the two groups(P< 0.05).The results show that the regular Hatha yoga practice in the long term can reduce the fat content in the core parts of the female members,reduce the obesity degree,and improve the body shape,and can shape the female body lines more fluently.(3)After 16 weeks of Hatha yoga practice,it was found that the body fat content and the percentage of fat in the body composition of the female subjects were significantly lower thanthose of the female subjects(P <0.05).The results show that regular Hatha yoga exercises over a long period of time can effectively reduce the excess fat of the body and achieve the goal of losing weight.(4)After 16 weeks of Hatha yoga practice,it was found that the mineral content in the body composition of the female subjects increased significantly(P< 0.05),and there was a significant difference between the two groups(P< 0.05).The results suggest that regular Hatha yoga practice may increase mineral absorption to a certain extent over the long term.(5)After 16 weeks of Hatha yoga practice,it was found that the basal metabolic level in the body composition of the female subjects increased significantly(P< 0.01),and there was a significant difference between the two groups(P< 0.05).The results showed that the basal metabolic rate was positively correlated with the lean body weight,so Hatha Yoga could increase the basal metabolic volume and accelerate the body fat burning rate by increasing the lean weight of the subjects.(6)After 16 weeks of Hatha yoga practice,it was found that the body composition of female subjects increased slightly,but there was no significant difference(P> 0.05).(7)After 16 weeks of Hatha yoga practice,it was found that the total body moisture in the body composition of female participants increased slightly,but there was no significant difference(P> 0.05). |
