Under the background of the new curriculum reform,labor and technology education,as an important part of comprehensive practice,is exhibited in front of teachers and students with new concepts and learning modes.It plays an important role in helping students to obtain positive labor experience,develop good technical literacy and cultivate students’ innovative spirit and practical ability.Through questionnaires and interviews,analyzes the ststus of labor and technology education in three primary schools in Nanjing,especially the existing problems and the causes.The main feedback of existing problems is as follows: first,in the daily labor of students,the labor experience time is short,the labor process is not meticulous,the labor skill is simple,the labor ability is poor;Second,teachers and students have not formed a correct attitude of labor and technology education;Third,in the concrete implementation process,there is a lack of consistency and systematization,the forms of implementation are not diversified enough,the functions of existing facilities are not fully played,teachers’ participation in students’ activities is not enough,and the evaluation subjects and forms of students are relatively simple.Fourth,in terms of the guarantee system,teachers’ professional quality is low and the hardware facilities are not perfect.Fifth,in terms of the utilization of educational resources,the absorption of external resources is low,and home-school communication is in a vacuum.From the value idea,security system,development and resources,the relationship between teachers and students as well as the evaluation system to analysis of the problems,put forward the following Suggestions: first,from the cognitive level to improve the understanding of labor and technology education,second,in practical level to guarantee class,rich course content and form,perfect the evaluation system,again from the management system,the teachers level and resource configuration and improve the security system,finally improve students’ ability of self education.
