A Study On The Pro-Poor Tourism In Menggen Village Of Lancang County

Poverty has always been a threat to the survival and development of all mankind,and eliminating poverty and achieving common prosperity are the common vision of the world.As the largest developing country and the large number of poor people,in order to achieve the goal of a comprehensive well-off society in 2020,how to make the poor areas out of poverty has become a problem for China and even the whole world.Due to historical,natural,social and other restrictive factors,making Yunnan becomes one of the provinces with the largest number of impoverished counties,the proportion of poverty population in the total population of the province ranks the forefront in China.Combined with the actual situation in Yunnan,we can see that the economic development of many poor areas in Yunnan lags behind,but it has very rich tourism resources:colorful ethnic customs,spectacular scenery.According to the analysis finding that more than half of the scenic spots are located in these poor areas,so considering the coincidence of spatial distribution between the tourism resources enrichment area and poor areas in Yunnan province,it is imperative to regard pro-poor tourism as one of the important means and ways to eliminate poverty in Yunnan province.Using pro-poor tourism theory,studying pro-poor tourism by using Menggen village as an example,combining with the analysis of the background of Menggen village pro-poor tourism,puting forward conception and scheme of Menggen village pro-poor tourism,striving for providing Menggen village pro-poor tourism with theoretical support and strategic guidance,to provide some practical suggestions and guidance for pro-poor tourism work in Menggun Village.This paper mainly includes the following parts:First,this paper expounds the background and significance of the topic,research methods and technical route,the interpretation of the connotation of pro-poor tourism,based on the review of domestic and foreign pro-poor tourism research,explaining and analyzing the theory applied in this paper.Secondly,through investigation of Menggen village,recording appearance,folk customs,resources,environment of Menggen village,and use the method of insider interviews to understand of Menggen village deeply,and using the PRA method to make the villagers to actively participate in the drawing of "village",then to analyze and evaluate poverty status,tourism resources of Menggen village and feasibility factors inhibitory factors of pro-poor tourism.Finally,the paper puts forward the conception and scheme and establishes the goal of Menggen village pro-poor tourism,discusses the basic principles and development ideas of rural pro-poor tourism,carefully designs the plan of the rural pro-poor tourism,inquires into the main measures of Menggen village pro-poor tourism,finally reach the conclusion and prospect.
