A Study Of The Relation Ship Between Technical Logic And Innovative Behavior

Now innovation has become the key factor to create and maintain a competitive advantage for new ventures.It has been confirmed in the course of practice that the innovation and performance of new ventures are heavily influenced by the logic of technology.Technical logic-oriented refers to enterprises will take the initiative to learn new knowledge,self-developed or advanced technology from others,to develop new products or services to meet the new needs of customers.And then enhance the competitive advantage,and even promote the development of the entire industry.However,in the case of taking the same Technical logic-oriented strategy,why some new ventures can maintain long-term viability,but some disappeared? Through a large number of literature research,we found that,as the evolution and development of new ventures,its goals are constantly changing under the influence of technical logic.Accordingly,its internal and external innovation behavior should also be adjusted,which leads to differences in innovation performance.The study of how to choose the internal and external innovation behavior under the guidance of technical logic has great significance for the survival and development of new ventures.Nevertheless,there are still several limitations in the relevant Strategic Management Theory and Entrepreneurial Innovation Theory:(1)Most of the current researches are from a static point of view to analyze the enterprise's innovative behavior,while ignoring the influence of different development stages on the choice of creative behavior.(2)New ventures phased development is not blind,but the planned and purposeful systematic behavior under the guidance of strategic orientation.But the existing researches are rare on linking the characteristics of the development phase of the new ventures to the strategic orientation.This will affect the study of "innovative behavior choice" internal mechanism,which is also not conducive to the in-depth theoretical guidance of innovation activities of new ventures.Therefore,we believe that it is necessary to guide the technical logic to the characteristics of the development stage of the New Venture 's Life Cycle,and on this basis,further explore the internal mechanism of internal innovation and external relations innovation choice.Specifically,this article discusses the following three basic questions: firstly,under the guidance of the technical logic,how to choose the internal innovation behavior for the new venture in different stages of development;secondly,under the same guidance of the technical logic,how to innovate the external relationship innovation behavior of the new venture and make it with the internal innovation behavior to promote the achievement of the initial goal of the new enterprise;thirdly,under the guidance of the technical logic,whether the innovative behavior of the new venture can effectively improve the innovation performance of the enterprises?On the basis of defining the development stage and innovation behavior of the start-up enterprises under the guidance of the technical logic,this research constructs the conceptual model of the relationship between technical logic,new venture's innovative behavior and performance by the way of theoretical deduction and realistic observation of mutual integration.Depth analysis of the internal mechanism between them and put forward the relevant theoretical assumptions.Through the random sampling survey,138 valid new ventures samples were collected,and using the statistical analysis software SPSS20.0 to carry on the factor analysis,the reliability and the validity analysis to each variable in the questionnaire.The correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis were used to explore the intrinsic relationship between the variables involved verify the significance of the conceptual model and its hypotheses.Specifically,this study mainly draws the following conclusions:(A)Under the guidance of technical logic,coupling form by technological and organizational system innovation behavior is different at different stages of development within the new venture.On the basis of defining the innovation behavior within the new ventures,this paper analyzes the different choices of technological innovation and organizational system innovation in the different stage of development,which is triggered by the technical logic.According to the empirical analysis,in the creation phase,new ventures will only take technological innovation;in the survival stage,the new ventures will take the behavior of technological innovation and organizational innovation at the same time,but will be based on the organizational innovation and technical innovation as the auxiliary;in the growth stage,the new ventures will also take both,but will be based on technological innovation to organizational system innovation as a supplement at this time.(B)Under the guidance of technical logic,new ventures' innovative behaviors of external social relations also show different characteristics in the different stages of development.Although theoretical deduced that the logic of technology and the strength of social relations will show different characteristics in different stages of development,the hierarchical regression analysis that there is a significant positive relationship between the technical logic and the strength of social relations in the creation stage,and the relationship between the survival stage and the growth stage is not significant.The relationship between the strength of social relations and the innovation performance is also not significant in the three stages.(C)Taking the technology logic-oriented strategy will enhance the innovation performance of the enterprise to a certain extent.This study examines the choice of innovation behavior at different stages of development under the guidance of the strategy-behavior and behavior-performance.It is basically consistent between the choice of innovation behavior by technological logic and the effect of innovative behavior on the improvement of innovation performance by hierarchical regression.Indicating that taking the technology logic-oriented strategy will enhance the innovation performance of the enterprise to a certain extent.But whether this promotion is a direct or indirect role does not belong to the scope of this study.It can be studied in the future study.(D)The definition of a new business can no longer be based on the age division.This research has been added the logic of technology into the characteristics of the development stage of new ventures,divided the development stage of new enterprises more clearly.New ventures were defined as about or below 8yesars enterprises in the relevant research.But such a division may no longer apply to distinguish between new ventures and mature enterprises in the current economic development environment.Compared with the existing research,the possible innovations of this paper are mainly reflected in the following three aspects:(A)Based on the existing research of the new ventures,the definition of it and the development stage is mainly from the enterprise years.We believe that there is a limitation in the understanding of the new ventures and their development.Therefore,this paper introduces the logic of technology into the development stage of new enterprises.On this basis,it defines the characteristics of different stages of development,and further analyzes the characteristics of new enterprises and their development stages,which will help us to study the dynamic choice of new ventures ' innovation behavior.(B)In the past,the innovation of new enterprise is regarded as the static process.The research focuses on the dynamic of the new venture.It analyzes the innovation behavior selection process of the new venture from the dynamic point of view,which helps the new ventures to develop according to its own development characteristics and adjusts its innovation path timely.(C)This study divides the innovation behavior of the new enterprise into internal and external situation,and defines the internal innovation as the technology and the organization system innovation,and regards the social innovation behavior as the external innovation behavior.Constructs the logical analysis path of SBP(strategy-behavior-performance),and empirical analysis in two ways--predecessor and behavior,behavior and results,co-verified the best path of new ventures' innovation behavior choose at different stages of development.This could help new ventures make a different combination of options to the innovative behavior within and outside the new ventures at different stages of development by screening for different development goals.
