Research On The Efficiency And Influencing Factors Of Green Development In Jiangsu Province

Since the reform and opening up,China's economic achievements have attracted worldwide attention,the level of urbanization has been increasing,and the people's wealth has been growing.However,the extensive development methods of the past few decades have brought a series of resources and environmental problems.The consumption of resources and emissions have become increasingly serious.The increase in the environmental system's load has constrained and hindered the healthy and sustainable development of the social economy.Therefore,it is imperative to improve the regional environmental quality,promote the intensification of resources,and take the green development road.As a developed area on the eastern coast,Jiangsu has witnessed rapid development in industrialization and urbanization.Not only has its economy ranked among the top in the country,but its environmental governance system has been relatively sound,and its ecological construction has achieved remarkable results.The pollution reduction task has reached the assessment target.However,the overall base of pollution discharge in Jiangsu is relatively large.The utilization rate of resources has not reached the target level.The contradiction between the province's economic development,urban construction,and environmental bearing capacity has become increasingly prominent.Green development efficiency integrates the level of economic development,resource consumption,and pollution emissions into the overall performance of the evaluation system.It can reflect the overall efficiency of regional economic growth and internal factors that affect the efficiency of green development.Based on the relevant literature and theoretical basis,this paper analyzes the current status of Jiangsu's resource use and pollution emissions,adopts the SBM model under the DEA method,and refers to the indicators of ecological civilization planning for the 13 prefecture-level cities in Jiangsu from 2009 to 2015.The green development efficiency was measured,and the internal factors affecting the city's green development efficiency were divided into resource input redundancy and environmental pollution redundancy analysis.Finally,each city's green development efficiency was used as an explanatory variable,and financial expenditure was six external factors.The factors are explanatory variables,use the panel data to establish a Tobit regression model,empirically analyze the external factors of Jiangsu's green development efficiency,and analyze and interpret the empirical results as a reference for Jiangsu to improve the green development efficiency and raise the level of green development for Jiangsu.Provide theoretical basis and decision-making reference.
