State-owned banks were once synonymous with high pay and high welfare,but now it has become the past.With the great changes in the political and economic situation at home and abroad,the state-owned commercial banks are facing the competition pressure and challenge in many aspects.This article analyzes several levels and perspectives from the policy level,regulatory level,level of competition,and external economic environment,and points out that in order to respond to the fierce internal and external environment and market competition,the internal business assessment pressure of state-owned commercial banks,The pressure of work efficiency,the pressure of bad assets,etc.are increasing day by day,and more stringent standards are imposed on the labor ability of employees,thus introducing the concept of work stress.Nowadays,problems such as high work pressure,incomprehensible personnel relations,difficulty in achieving business objectives,family members who do not understand,difficulties in raising incomes,and physical illnesses are frequently seen among state-owned bank employees.The problems of work stress and turnover tendencies are further affected.In the end,the performance and business development of state-owned banks will also have a negative impact.On April 10 this year,at the opening ceremony of the 2018 annual meeting of the Boao Forum for Asia,Xi remarked to the world that the door to China's opening would only grow bigger and bigger.On the following day,the Governor of the Central Bank,Yi Gang,announced at the Boao Forum for Asia more than 10 heavy opening measures for financial liberalization,including the removal of banks' foreign ownership restrictions and allowing foreign banks to set up branches and sub-banks in the country.The industryhas ushered in unprecedented openness,and the competition faced by state-owned banks has increased.In recent years,the Central Government has continuously strengthened the supervision of banks.2017 is called the “most strict year of supervision” in the banking industry,Since the beginning of 2017,the China Banking Regulatory Commission has carried out the “three-three,forty-four”special rectification work of “three violations,three arbitrage,four improper and ten chaos.”In addition,the marketization of interest rates has also brought tremendous pressure on bank's earnings.In 2018,the frequency of supervision documents was greatly improved.The state-owned banks should not only face heavy operating pressure,but also face strict supervision pressure.One of the consequences of increased work pressure is the increase in the turnover of state-owned bank employees.Although the state-owned banks have generally paid attention to the issue of employee resignation in recent years and increased the assessment requirements for employee turnover,due to the existence of various pressures such as operating environment and performance indicators,the turnover rate of employees remains high.In this study,a total of 342 state-owned bank employees from 4 places in Nansha District,Tianhe District,Liwan District and Yuexiu District in Guangzhou were investigated to conduct a questionnaire survey,to analyze the mechanism of employee turnover intention in state-owned banks,building and using confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis to verify the path model of The pressure of the work itself-Perceived Organizational Support-Turnover Intention.Concluded as follow:(1)The pressure of the employees of state-owned banks in Guangzhou is in the upper middle level and directly positive affects their turnover intention.(2)The increasingly harsh management and regulatory pressures make employees feel the lack of organizational support,In this process,Employee organizational support perception plays a part of mediating role between job stress itself and turnover intention.This study further enriched and improved the influence mechanism of bank turnover intention,it helps the new era to deepen the reform of financial system,improve the level of organizational support management,correctly deal with employees' work pressure,improve their job performance and job satisfaction,and achieve win-win results.
