Analysis On The Technological Innovation Efficiency Of High-tech Industry In Hubei Province

The high-tech industry has become a hot industry due to its high technological content,large market potential,strong industry correlation,low energy dependence,and high added value.The high-tech industry in Hubei Province has a strategic significance in economic development,which is conducive to the adjustment and upgrading of industrial structure and the improvement of core competitiveness,and technological innovation provides a powerful guarantee for the development of high-tech industries.At present,the international competition is becoming increasingly severe.Increasing the efficiency of technological innovation is the key to improving the competitiveness of high-tech industries.Based on the analysis of the status quo of the development of high-tech industries in Hubei Province,this paper uses the DEA method to compare and analyze the technological innovation efficiencies of high-tech industries in Hubei Province and other provinces and cities in China,and compares the technological innovation efficiency of the five major industries in Hubei Province.Conduct comparative analysis.Then use the Tobit model to study the impact of industrial characteristics on the efficiency of technological innovation in high-tech industries in Hubei Province.The results of the study indicate that the level of technological innovation of high-tech industries in Hubei Province during the period from 2006 to 2015 is relatively low,and there is a large gap compared with other regions in the country.The five major industries have different technological innovation efficiencies.The highest technological innovation efficiency is in the electronics and communications equipment manufacturing industry,followed by pharmaceutical manufacturing,medical instrumentation and instrumentation manufacturing,aviation,spacecraft and equipment manufacturing,and computers.And office equipment manufacturing.Industrial characteristics such as export capacity and government support have a significant positive impact on the efficiency of technological innovation in high-tech industries in Hubei Province;there is an inverted U-shaped relationship between human resources and the efficiency of technologicalinnovation in high-tech industries in Hubei Province;and the scale of enterprises and technology introduction to Hubei Province There is no significant positive impact on the technological innovation efficiency of provincial high-tech industries.The scale economy effect of high-tech industries in Hubei Province has not yet appeared,and the capacity for digestion and absorption of enterprises is also slightly insufficient.On this basis,this paper puts forward suggestions for improving the efficiency of technological innovation in high-tech industries in Hubei Province from the perspective of government and enterprises.
