Research On My Country's Financial Assistance In Targeted Poverty Alleviation

Tackling poverty is an important task facing developing countries and an important guarantee for sustainable economic and social development.Since the reform and opening up,China has attached great importance to the issue of poverty and carried out various forms of poverty alleviation work.Nowadays,as the time for China to complete the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects approaches,the issue of poverty has been raised to a new level.In order to properly solve this problem,China implemented the targeted poverty alleviation policy in 2014,aiming to provide assistance tailored to local conditions for the poor population.Historical experience shows that poverty alleviation cannot be carried out without financial support.As an important way to allocate economic resources in contemporary rural areas,finance needs to provide effective services and support for targeted poverty alleviation.However,there are still many problems in the actual implementation of targeted financial poverty alleviation in China.Solving these problems well will help improve the efficiency of targeted financial poverty alleviation,so as to achieve the overall goal of poverty alleviation.Based on the development status of targeted financial poverty alleviation in China,this paper studies the effect,existing problems,influencing factors and development Suggestions of financial development on poverty alleviation.Based on the comprehensive studies on poverty and financial poverty reduction at home and abroad,the concept and theoretical basis of targeted financial poverty alleviation are integrated to analyze the development process and current situation of poverty alleviation and financial poverty alleviation in China.The empirical research model of WLS and OLS was adopted to measure the actual effect of targeted financial poverty alleviation in China by combining the cross-sectional data of 620 poverty-stricken counties in China in 2016.The existing problems and influencing factors of targeted financial poverty alleviation were analyzed through empirical conclusions.This paper finds that targeted financial poverty alleviation has the following problems: inaccurate identification of targeted financial poverty alleviation objects,mismatch between supply and demand of financial poverty alleviation products,high default risk of financial poverty alleviation loans and low operational efficiency of financial institutions in poor areas.This paper holds that the causes of these problems lie in imperfect financial poverty alleviation supervision,insufficient coverage of financial poverty alleviation outlets,imperfect credit system in poor areas and insufficient financial poverty alleviation policy support.Finally,this paper puts forward policy Suggestions on financial assistance for targeted poverty alleviation: improve the financial targeted poverty alleviation supervision system,strengthen the financial network coverage in poor areas,improve the credit reference system in poor areas,strengthen policy support for targeted poverty alleviation and improve the operational efficiency of financial institutions in poor areas.
