Temporal-spatial Changes Of The Decoupling Relationship Between Tourism Development And Multidimensional Poverty

Due to the prevalence of poverty,it has always been the focus around the world.As the largest developing country in the world,the problem of poverty is highly valued by the Chinese government.In academic research,poverty has also become one of the hot topics of scholars.With the deepening of research on poverty,it has gradually shifted from studying the single dimension of poverty to studying poverty in many dimensions such as economy,education,and medical.Tourism has the advantages of small investment,low threshold and quick effect.Except that,the spatial distribution of tourism resource-rich areas and poverty-stricken areas is relatively consistent.Therefore,the idea of realizing poverty alleviation in poverty-stricken areas through tourism development has gradually been recognized,and tourism has been regarded as an important means of poverty alleviation little by little.In this development context,this paper combines multi-dimensional poverty research with tourism poverty alleviation research.Exploring the decoupling relationship between tourism development and poverty in multidimensional,economy,education,medical and social security dimensions from the perspective of multi-dimensional poverty using Tapio decoupling model.This paper uses 74 national poor counties in Southwest China with typical development of tourism poverty alleviation as research cases.The research period is 2007-2016.Based on the decoupling relationship,this paper further analyzes the development status of poverty alleviation in multidimensional,economy,education,medical and social security.The results of the study on the temporal variation of the decoupling relationship between tourism development and poverty in multidimensional,economy,education,medical and social security dimensions in Southwest China's poor counties from 2007 to 2016 shows:(1)From 2007 to 2016,the decoupling relationship between tourism development in poor counties in Southwest China and poverty in different dimensions is behaved as a variety of decoupling types.This shows that the decoupling relationship between different poor counties shows a certain degree of difference;(2)From the perspective of the development status of poverty alleviation,overall performance in 2013 was the most ideal.Comparing the poverty alleviation status of different poverty dimensions,the medical dimension poverty is relatively ideal,followed by the economic and education dimension,and the social security dimension is relatively poor from 2007 to 2016 in Southwest China's poor counties.The results of the study on the spatial variation of the decoupling relationship between tourism development and poverty in multidimensional,economy,education,medical and social security dimensions in Southwest China's poor counties from 2007 to 2016 shows:(1)During the whole research period,various decoupling types are spatially distributed,and the spatial distribution range of various decoupling types changes continuously with time;This shows that the decoupling relationship of poor counties in the Southwest China is always in dynamic change in spatial distribution;(2)There are obvious spatial differences in the poverty alleviation state of poor counties in different provinces.Guizhou Province's poor counties are relatively good,followed by Yunnan Province and Chongqing City's poor counties,and the poor counties in Sichuan Province are relatively poor from 2007 to 2016 in Southwest China.The results of the study on the stability of the decoupling relationship between tourism development and poverty in multidimensional,economy,education,medical and social security dimensions in Southwest China's poor counties from 2007 to 2016 shows:(1)Throughout the whole research period,the decoupling relationship between tourism development and poverty in different dimensions show a certain degree of instability;Among them,the instability of the decoupling relationship of the synchronous rising state and the synchronous falling state is relatively strong,and the instability of the decoupling relationship of the asynchronous development state is relatively weak;(2)From the stability of tourism poverty alleviation,poor counties in Southwestern China in different dimensions of poverty all showed that the ideal tourism poverty alleviation state has relatively strong instability,the less ideal tourism poverty alleviation state is easy to shift to a completely unsatisfactory tourism poverty alleviation state,the completely unsatisfactory tourism poverty alleviation state is relatively easy to maintain stability.
