Study On The Decoupling Relationship Between Tourism Development And Multidimensional Poverty In Yunnan-Guangxi-Guizhou Stone Desertification Area

In 2020,the decisive battle against poverty has achieved a comprehensive victory,the historic elimination of absolute poverty,marking China’s entry into the post-poverty era dominated by relative poverty and multidimensional poverty governance.Tourism industry has the characteristics of economic,driving and comprehensive,and the long-term cultivation of tourism industry in poverty-eradication areas plays an important role in promoting endogenous and sustainable development in the region.With the continuous promotion of consolidating the results of poverty eradication,the multi-dimensional poverty alleviation effect of tourism has attracted wide attention from all walks of life.Identifying and analyzing the degree of synergy between tourism development and multidimensional poverty can provide reference for preventing and solving the risk of returning to poverty,promoting the efficient connection between the results of poverty eradication and rural revitalization,and is an important basis for measuring the effectiveness of tourism poverty alleviation work.The Yunnan-Guangxi-Guizhou stone desertification area is a key part of the comprehensive development and management of the western region of China,and promoting the high-quality development of the area is an important initiative to consolidate the results of poverty eradication and rural revitalization,which is a major strategy for the overall development of the country.Based on the theories of multidimensional poverty,sustainable development and decoupling,this study focuses on the outstanding problems of multidimensional poverty,and takes the Yunnan-Guangxi-Guizhou stone desertification area as an example to analyze the main achievements and problems of tourism development and multidimensional poverty management in the area,and then adopts the entropy weight method and Tapio decoupling model to measure the elasticity coefficient of decoupling tourism development and multidimensional poverty in the area from 2011 to 2019,and uses Arc-gis geographic information analysis software to analyze the spatial and temporal evolution of the decoupling relationship.Then,based on the results of decoupling elasticity coefficient measurement,Hansen’s threshold regression model is applied to study the threshold influence of the decoupling relationship between tourism development and multidimensional poverty in Yunnan-Guangxi-Guizhou stone desertification area by using advanced industrial structure,financial support,tourism population density and government intervention as threshold variables,respectively.Finally,based on the results of the empirical analysis,combining with the actual development of tourism and multidimensional poverty in the area,targeted countermeasures and suggestions for the synergistic promotion of tourism development and multidimensional poverty governance are proposed,in order to provide theoretical basis and practical reference for enhancing the efficiency of multidimensional tourism poverty alleviation and promoting rural revitalization in the Yunnan-Guangxi-Guizhou stony desertification area.In summary,this paper draws the following conclusions.First,the tourism development and multi-dimensional poverty management in Yunnan-Guangxi-Guizhou stone desertification area have achieved significant benefits in comprehensive stone desertification management,the scale of tourism industry continues to expand,the creation of cultural and tourism brands is beginning to bear fruit,and the "blood transfusion" and "blood creation" are both used to enhance the effectiveness of poverty alleviation,and so on.There are outstanding problems such as the lagging construction of tourism facilities,the quality of tourism products needs to be improved,the complexity and enormity of multi-dimensional poverty will persist for a long time,and the multi-dimensional poverty needs to be strengthened in the multi-dimensional collaborative governance.The overall tourism development level of the region fluctuates up and the multidimensional poverty index fluctuates down,and the two evolve well with each other.Secondly,the decoupling relationship between tourism development and multidimensional poverty in most counties of Yunnan-Guangxi-Guizhou stone desertification area is dominated by strong and weak decoupling during the study period.In terms of temporal change pattern,the elasticity coefficient of the decoupling relationship between tourism development and multidimensional poverty in the area is unstable,and from 2011 to 2019,it has successively experienced the period of organization and coordination,the period of drastic fluctuation,and the period of fluctuation and adjustment,and the decoupling relationship generally shows the development trend from completely undesirable to less desirable and finally to the ideal state;in terms of spatial change pattern,from 2011 to 2019,different provinces County development there is obvious spatial variability,in which,Guangxi stone desertification area tourism poverty alleviation development is relatively good,Guizhou stone desertification area development performance is relatively poor.Third,financial support and tourism population density have a threshold effect on the decoupling relationship between tourism development and multidimensional poverty in Yunnan-Guangxi-Guizhou stone desertification area.Among them,financial support has a significant single threshold characteristic on the decoupling relationship,financial support can promote the decoupling of tourism development and multidimensional poverty in the initial stage,but after crossing the threshold,the effect is no longer significant,although it still maintains a positive increase,therefore,financial support in Yunnan-Guangxi-Guizhou stone desertification area should be balanced with both strength and accuracy;tourism population density has a significant single threshold effect on the decoupling relationship,in the sample However,as the scale of tourism industry expands and the tourism population density increases,the problems of overburdened resources and crowded living space of local residents in Yunnan-Guangxi-Guizhou stone desertification area become increasingly prominent,and the imbalance of supply and demand structure makes the promotion effect of tourism population density on the decoupling relationship of tourism development and multidimensional poverty decrease.Therefore,when implementing the multidimensional poverty alleviation strategy through tourism development,the basic conditions such as the carrying capacity of the area should be fully considered,and the number of tourists received should be reasonably controlled to realize the healthy and healthy development of tourism and promote the maximum efficiency of multidimensional poverty alleviation.
