Based on the analysis of economic differences and economic complementarity and the SWOT analysis of the economic cooperation between China's Xinjiang and the five Central Asian countries, this paper analyzes the economic cooperation between China's Xinjiang and the five Central Asian countries and the regional economy from 1991 to 2017.Study the opportunities and challenges of future cooperation. In 1991,the five Central Asian countries announced their independence until 2017,and the scale of the economy has developed, but there are still development differences between different countries. From 1991 to 2002,the economic development of the five Central Asian countries was relatively slow, the scale of the economy was small, and the economic cooperation with Xinjiang was at a preliminary stage of development. From 2003 to 2012,the five countries of Central Asia developed rapidly, and the economic cooperation with Xinjiang became more and more perfect. The scale has gradually increased, the scope of cooperation has gradually increased, and regional economic cooperation is in a stage of rapid development. In 2013-2017,the economic development of the five Central Asian countries continued and was relatively stable.Under the promotion of the “Belt and Road Initiative”,the five Central Asian countries were Xinjiang. The economic cooperation has been further deepened and the scope of cooperation has become more extensive.Based on the empirical analysis of the economic differences between China's Xinjiang and Central Asia, the absolute difference between China's Xinjiang and Central Asia's five economies is superficial;China's Xinjiang and the five Central Asian countries The extremes and standard deviations of per capita GDP show roughly the same trend, indicating that the absolute differences between the economies have been expanding from 1992 to 2013,and the absolute difference has narrowed from 2013 to 2016,rising from 2016 to 2017;The extreme value ratio of the per capita GDP of China's Xinjiang and Central Asian countries and the proposed coefficient are also roughly the same, indicating that the relative differences between the economies show an increasing trend from 1996 to 2013,and the relative difference between 2013 and 2016.Gradually shrinking, there will be a small increase from 2016 to 2017.Analysis of the natural resources, industrial structure characteristics, economic trade and consumer demand market of China's Xinjiang and Central Asian countries.China's Xinjiang and Central Asian countries have certain similarities at different levels. At the same time, the two sides complement each other.Stronger.From the perspective of the complementarity of natural resources,China's Xinjiang has greater complementarity with Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. From the perspective of complementarity of industrial structure, the similarity coefficient of industrial structure between Xinjiang and Tajikistan in China is 0.93,which is lower than the standard value of 0.95.The industrial structure of the two regions has a certain degree of complementarity, which is similar to other countries and weaker in complementarity; The analysis of the dependence of trade between China's Xinjiang and the five Central Asian countries shows that Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan in China's Xinjiang and Central Asian countries have great trade dependence and strong trade complementarity;trade complementarity with other Central Asian countries is not Obviously, but some of the trend of increasing dependence has a certain economic foundation;at the same time, from the perspective of consumer demand market, the five Central Asian countries have a relatively stable consumer market, and the market prospect is broad. At the same time, the economic cooperation between Xinjiang and Central Asian countries needs to consider the impact of the geopolitical game of big countries in Central Asia, which poses a potential threat to economic cooperation between Xinjiang and Central Asian countries. How to deal with big countries? The game, from which to obtain the corresponding economic benefits,is also a problem that Xinjiang and Central Asian countries need to solve in future economic cooperation.
