Study On Strategic Positioning Between Xinjiang And Central Asian Countries In Regional Economic Cooperation

In the process of the modern economic development, economic globalization and regional economic cooperation have become the two major trends。In terms of both geo-economics and economic mechanism, all integral parts of world economy are gradually formed into a whole body.Geo-economic cooperation and development between Xinjiang and the five countries of Central Asia, is not only a must for economical globalization, but also an inevitable choice for the emerging China opening to the world.With the implementation of the strategy for the development of China's west, Xinjiang, which used to be the closed remote autonomous region has become the forefront facing central Asian nations.Under the guidance of China's policies to reform and open up, a completely new, all-dimensional opening pattern is formed in Xinjiang. with economic development of Xinjiang, History gives opportunities to Xinjiang once again. Re-examine and scientific positioning development of Xinjiang have completely capable of developing a new Xinjiang. strengthen economic cooperation and enhance the level of opening up, and finally reach the goal of "win-win"scenario in building up the cooperation relationship.This thesis uses the methods of induction, systemizing, and the combination of qualitative and normative analysis, the combination of theoretical and empirical study to analyze strategic positioning between Xinjiang and Central Asian countriesy in regional economic cooperation. The thesis consists of six chapters as follows:The first chapter is Preface, the background of the selected topic, significance of research, domestic and foreign research tendency, research mentality, research technique and the innovation are introduced. Chapter two:relevant theory outlined about analyze strategic positioning between Xinjiang and Central Asian countriesy in regional economic cooperation.It includings theory of Regional economic cooperation, theory of regional economic complementarity theory, theory of strategic positioning and so on. Chapter three, the status of regional economic cooperation between Xinjiang and Central Asian countries.First introduced an overview of in Xinjiang and the five Central Asian countries, then an analyse the status of regional economic cooperation between China, China's Xinjiang and Central Asian countries. Chapter four:complementarity analysis and the conditions for regional economic cooperation between Xinjiang and Central Asian countries. we analyzed the conditions for economic cooperation, obstacles and complementarity. Chapter five, strategic positioning between Xinjiang and Central Asian countriesy in regional economic cooperation. This chapter is the core content of papers, first we carried out the swot analysis about Xinjiang and Central Asian regional economic cooperation and we reviewed the previous strategic positioning in Xinjiang, second, we set the economic centre, then Put forward a new era of strategic positioning on basis of the foregoing analysis of several chapters in Xinjiang. Finally, proposals are made on how to implement strategic positioning of Xinjiang.
