With the continuous development of agricultural information,the breeding industry is also constantly scaled,digitized and intellectualized.China has put forward commercial breeding suitable for its own development,catering to the development and requirements of the times,and given the direction and motivation of development and creation.It also puts forward new requirements for all fields of breeding process.A suitable field test method can not only get the most accurate experimental results,but also reduce the experimental cycle on the process,which is of great significance to the development of commercial breeding.The main research results of this paper are as follows:(1)An improved design method of block in replication experiment is proposed.The design method of block in replication is suitable for large-scale field experiment.The control check is added to the existing design method of block in replication,which makes the method more practical in actual production practice and enhances the contrast with current varieties.(2)An improved statistical analysis method of block in replication was proposed.The formula of DOF makes the result more accurate.Calculation and display the average of CK in the method of the software can make the results closer to the true value and more accurate.(3)The commercial breeding software system was studied and designed,and the improved design method of block in replication method and statistical analysis method were integrated into the software system.This method will be one of the alternative test methods provided by software for users.It includes experiment planning,tracking,data management and data analysis.The main purpose of this paper is to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of classical field test methods,to sort out the selection of field test methods that can be applied to commercial breeding,and to improve the field test methods according to the characteristics of commercial breeding such as large scale and many products,improved test method enhances practicability and reduces errors to a certain extent.,eliminate external interference as far as possible,reduce unfair objective evaluation,at the same time,grouping is more convenient to manage a large number of breeding numbers.For example,when variety evaluation comes from multiple breeding companies and each company has more varieties of varieties,the original methods can not meet these needs of commercial breeding.Therefore,the addition and improvement of the design method of block in replication will promote the popularization and using of commercial breeding software which will make the breeding industry more large-scale,digitalized and intellectualized.The improved field test method is initially feasible in theory and practice,but it still needs constant verification and practical evaluation..After repeated validation,the improved field test method has been applied in the information management system of Beidahuang Kenfeng Seed Company and have been achieved a good results.
