Study On China's Agricultural Export Trade With Other Brics Countries

As the largest cooperation organization of developing countries in the world,brics members span Asia,Europe,South America and Africa,with vast territory,l arge population and rapid urbanization and industrialization.Against the backgroun d of economic globalization,brics countries share common interests and positions.Brics leaders' summits,foreign ministers' meetings and agricultural ministers' meeti ngs have all promoted political mutual trust and economic and trade exchanges am ong brics countries.As big agricultural countries,the brics countries play an impor tant role in the trade cooperation and development of all countries.Their agricultu ral output value accounts for more than half of the world's agricultural output valu e.Moreover,each country's agriculture has its own characteristics.With the increasingly close agricultural trade between China and other brics countries,the scale of bilateral agricultural trade is expanding and showing a growing trend,but there are also some outstanding problems.This paper through analyzing the present situation of China exported agricultural products to the other brics,using trade competitive index and revealed comparative advantage index analysis competitive level and trend,using the trade gravity model to measure the potential value,as well as the GDP,population,the absolute value of the difference between the per capita GDP,factors such as geographical distance,the world trade organization(wto)and the boundary is how to influence other bric countries to China agricultural product export trade potential,Furthermore,it concludes that China has serious trade deficit with other brics countries in agricultural products export trade,unreasonable export product structure,excessive concentration of export market,lack of core competitiveness,lack of potential development,poor quality of agricultural products and increasing trade frictions.Finally,this paper puts forward to promote the development of Chinese agricultural products trade with other brics countries,including improve the quality of agricultural products,improve the structure of export agricultural products,improve the international competitiveness of agricultural products,to further expand the market,development of agricultural product export potential,to create a good trading environment,and actively develop the way such as foreign investment,has a certain practical significance.
