Innovation has become the theme of today's era,especially in the context of global economic integration and rapid development of scientific and technological innovation,innovation has become the source of sustainable development of enterprises.Enterprise performance improvement is a powerful driving force to promote economic growth.Employee performance,as an important part of enterprise performance,should be valued by leaders.At this time,a leader who can improve subordinates' innovation performance is needed.Employees' innovation performance is generally affected by four factors: skills,incentives,environment and opportunities.This paper focuses on the latter three,focusing on the behavior of leaders in management and the impact of the created work environment on employees' innovation performance.Leaders are not only strategic makers of enterprises,but also performance promoters of employees.Charming leadership can strengthen employees' psychological empowerment and pay attention to employees' emotional changes,so this paper mainly studies the impact of charismatic leadership on employees' innovation performance.Charming leadership is characterized by stimulating employees,but the motivation behind stimulating employees is varied.On the one hand,it is motivated by the development of employees,on the other hand,it is motivated by the promotion of their own.The public power of charismatic leadership will promote the development of employees and enterprises,while the private power of charismatic leadership may have a negative effect on the development of enterprises and may endanger the long-term development of organizations and subordinates.This study explores the influence mechanism of charismatic leadership of public and private rights on employees' innovation performance based on the framework of distinguishing charismatic leadership's motivation of "public power" and "private power".Based on 303 samples,the study finds that charismatic leadership of public power has a positive effect on employees' innovation performance,while charismatic leadership of private power has a negative impact on employees' innovation performance.Psychological empowerment plays a mediating role between charismatic leadership of public power and charismatic leadership of private power and employees' innovation performance.The relationship between charismatic leadership of public power and charismatic leadership of private power and employees' innovation performance is handed over by leaders.Exchange adjustment.Therefore,in order to effectively improve employee innovation performance,this paper will focus on whether charismatic leadership has a positive and negative impact on employee innovation performance.The theoretical basis of this study is based on social exchange and social identity theory.Through correlation and regression analysis,the relationship between charismatic leadership duality,psychological empowerment,leadership member exchange and employee innovation performance is proved.Using the mature and suitable scale at home and abroad,this paper takes the employees of enterprises in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei as the research object.All 303 questionnaires were sent out and 303 were recovered.After the questionnaire was collected,the data were analyzed.Firstly,reliability and validity analysis,descriptive statistical analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis were carried out using SPSS17.0 software.Finally,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Private charismatic leadership has a negative impact on employees' innovation performance,while public charismatic leadership has a positive impact on employees' innovation performance.(2)Psychological empowerment has a positive impact on employee innovation performance.Psychological empowerment has a partial mediating effect between charismatic leadership of public and private rights and employee innovation performance.(3)Leader-member exchange has a positive predictive effect on employee innovation performance.Leader-member exchange moderates the positive and negative relationship between charismatic leadership duality-public and private rights motivation and employee innovation performance.
