The theme of this paper is the power change of high-quality development in China under the background of the new era.Firstly,this paper chooses the provincial panel data and calculates the change rate of total factor productivity in China using DEA-Malmquist method.Based on the change rate TFP and the trend comparison between it and GDP growth rate,this paper divides China's economic development into four stages since 1978,and studies the power factors in each stage.Also,this paper defines high-quality development as the coordinated improvement of the quality of economic,social and environment.On this basis,this paper divides the quality of development into three dimensions and further divides them into four items: economic growth and structure,stability of development,welfare change and distribution of results,and the cost of resource utilization and ecological environment.The development quality index(DQI)is synthesized as the proxy variable to measure the quality of development.Further,this paper establishes an econometric model between the DQI and various power factors.The regression results show that the key force for the improvement of development quality in China in the new era comes from the promotion of independent innovation ability and the accumulation of human capital.The further improvement of market economy system and market level is also an important dynamic factor while the role of urbanization and the intensity of government spending in improving the quality of development is minimal and not statistically significant... |
