Nowadays,the market competition is more and more fierce,among which the human factor has increasingly become the key factor for organizations to achieve their strategic goals.The most critical problem for human resource management in modern enterprise is how to attract,retain and motivate talents in such a fierce market competition for SME(Small and medium enterprises).Besides,confronted with more and more challenges from all sides in terms of operation and management model for SME,innovation and breakthrough should be made in the production service technology,but also in the salary system design and performance management.Therefore,perfect salary system design and performance management is an important factor for enterprises to ensure their sustainable development.Based on the study of the current situation at home and abroad,also the numerous existing theories and literature on compensation as well as performance management,this paper analyzes the existing above-mentioned problems of HY Company one by one and proposes improvement plans.First of all,this paper carries out job analysis and description for each position of HY Company,determines the value and evaluation of the position of the company,and provides a basis for the design of HY Company's salary system and performance reform.Secondly,data are collected on the salary satisfaction for all staff by means of questionnaire survey,which provides specific data support for the optimization of the company's salary system.Thirdly,through the extraction of indicators in job evaluation and key performance,the goals of organizational,department and employees are combined,and the scientific method is used to assess the performance of employees to ensure the rationality of the final assessment results.Finally,on the basis of optimizing the basic salary of employees,the incentive performance of employees should be optimized and improved.Based on the study of theory in advanced salary system design and performance management at home and abroad,This paper continuously improves the existing salary system and performance management of the enterprise,and new scheme was put into the operation of HY Company.In the first place,the original "big pot" bonus distribution system is cancelled;Secondly,individual jobs,individual performance and department performance,and overall operating efficiency are combined closely linked together,which make the salary distribution of the enterprise more scientific and reasonable and help employees be more clear about their own responsibility.Meanwhile,the new plan can also help the company know its organizational structure better and sort out post setting and the staff number.Thirdly,the new scheme help the enterprise managers have a further understanding of performance management and realize that performance appraisal is only a part and method of performance management.And it should be a kind of systematic,scientific and all-round method.Fourthly,gradually change the previous lazy and irresponsible state of employees at work,stimulate the enthusiasm of employees for independent learning and work at work,improve the enthusiasm of employees,so that the enterprise's performance management can have a benign development;Fifthly,the operation of the new scheme sets up a relatively fair competition platform for the enterprise staff,which can help them obtain the recognition of self-worth and understand their own shortcomings in the new salary design and performance management;Finally,enhance the company's competitiveness and influence in the industry and provide reference indicators for other SME in the industry.
