Family farm as a new agricultural management system,is not only an important means to increase the efficiency of agriculture and increase the income of farmers,but also a vital force to enhance the level of agricultural modernization.However,in practice,family farms are still faced with severe resource constraints,such as weak resources and difficulties in obtaining external resources,which make most family farms have get into troubles in the development.Still,some family farms are growing fast and achieving good entrepreneurial performance by the creative use of existing resources at hand,which has attracted wide attention from scholars.Taking into account the characteristics of poor family farm resources,this paper tries to explore the growth mechanism of family farm from the perspective of " inner-born resource"(entrepreneurial bricolage)to explore the growth mechanism of family farms,and to introduce entrepreneurial learning as an intermediary variable which affects the performance of family farms.This paper attempts to open the black box of "entrepreneurial bricolage--the entrepreneurial performance of family farms" and provides a new way to understand the growth of family farms in resource scarcity.In view of this,this paper first combed and reviewed the relevant literature,and based on the Business Growth Theory and Entrepreneurial Trait Theory,constructed the relationship model of entrepreneurial bricolage,entrepreneurial learning(exploratory learning,exploitation learning)and entrepreneurial performance of family farm,and put forward the corresponding research hypothesis.Based on the survey data of 328 family farms in Hunan Province,the relationship model and research hypothesis are tested by SPSS21.0 analysis software.The results show that all the hypotheses have been verified,and the following conclusions are obtained.First,entrepreneurial bricolage is conducive to improve the performance of the family farm,and the family farm can effectively break through the dilemma of resource constraints and achieve the first development through entrepreneurial bricolage.Second,entrepreneurial bricolage is an effective way for the farmers to explore new knowledge and deepen the existing knowledge system,and has a positive effect on the exploration and exploitation learning.Third,entrepreneurial learning helps to improve the entrepreneurial performance of family farm.Exploratory learning is beneficial to the introduction of new agricultural elements in family farms.Exploitation learning can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the use of knowledge,information and skills.The two learning methods can lay a foundation for the promotion of the entrepreneurial performance of the family farm.Four,entrepreneurial bricolage can improve the entrepreneurial performance of family farm entrepreneurship through exploratory and exploitation learning,but these two learning methods only partially mediate the relationship between entrepreneurial bricolage and entrepreneurial performance of family farms.The research results of this paper not only supplement and improve the related research of family farm,entrepreneurial bricolage and entrepreneurial learning,but also provide important practical guidance for the development of family farm activities.
