The Impact Of Entrepreneurial Bricolage On Entrepreneurial Performance

As early as 2016,the concept of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation" was put forward in China.A large number of young people began to start businesses in the first and second tier cities,and the entrepreneurial activities in China mushroomed.Although the state provides various preferential policies for key entrepreneurial groups,according to the survey of science investment,90%of entrepreneurs in our country start their own businesses for survival.Most of them are fresh graduates or people forced to start their own businesses for various reasons.Therefore,they are facing the "new difficulties" of resource shortage,poor resource acquisition ability,less stable customers and weak market development ability The probability of success is less than 5%.However,most enterprises succeed in starting their own businesses under the constraints of resources.When facing the constraints of resources,they can reexamine the resources at hand,not wait for the "right"resources,but use existing resources to solve problems so as to achieve relatively satisfactory results,and then grasp the entrepreneurial opportunities to start their own businesses successfully.This strategy of assembling resources is entrepreneurial bricolage.In the field of innovation and entrepreneurship,although the concept of entrepreneurial bricolage was put forward late,it is not a new theory.Once put forward,entrepreneurial bricolage has been widely concerned by scholars at home and abroad.In reeent years,more and more academic papers about entrepreneurial bricolage are growing,but more attention is paid to the theory of entrepreneurial bricolage itself.Scholars have done a lot of fieldwork and also done a lot of work There are many empirical studies on the relationship between entrepreneurial bricolage and entrepreneurial performance,but most of them take entrepreneurial performance as a single dimension,and there are differences between empirical and case results.The research of entrepreneurial bricolage theory has been quite mature.Now scholars begin to turn to the empirical research of entrepreneurial bricolage.Scholars think that the research on the relationship between bricolage and performance should abandon the view that only entrepreneurial performance is a single dimension,and need to refine the relationship between the two.In addition,the existing empirical research also analyzes the impact of entrepreneurial bricolage on entrepreneurial performance under different situational factors,but less attention is paid to the mechanism through which entrepreneurial bricolage affects entrepreneurial performance,so it is of great significance to explore the mechanism through which entrepreneurial bricolage affects entrepreneurial performance.Based on the theory of dynamic ability and cognitive learning,this study studies the impact of entrepreneurial bricolage on entrepreneurial performance through empirical research methods,so as to refine the relationship between the two,and explore the intermediary mechanism of entrepreneurial bricolage on entrepreneurial performance,so as to provide theoretical guidance for entrepreneurs in the process of entrepreneurial bricolage.The main conclusions of this study are:(1)entrepreneurial bricolage can promote the financial performance of new start-ups;(2)entrepreneurial bricolage can promote the growth performance of new start-ups;(3)entrepreneurial bricolage can promote the innovation performance of new start-ups.(4)entrepreneurial learning mediates the impact of entrepreneurial bricolage on entrepreneurial performance and various dimensions of entrepreneurial performance.The main innovation points of this study are as follows:firstly,most of the existing researches on the relationship between bricolage and performance take performance as a whole.In this study,entrepreneurial Performance is divided into three dimensions:financial performance,growth performance and innovation performance,so the relationship between them is refined in this study.Secondly,this study adds entrepreneurial learning as an intermediary variable to the relationship model between the two,explores the mechanism through which entrepreneurial bricolage affects entrepreneurial performance,clarifies the impact path,reveals the conduction role of entrepreneurial learning between the two,and complements the existing research.
