Study On The Efficiency Of Grain Production In Changde

Improving grain production efficiency in the new era is not only the need for national food security,but also the need for Rural Revitalization in major grain producing areas.Changde is located in Dongting Lake,which is an important commodity grain production base of the state.Therefore,it is of great practical and strategic significance to promote the scale management of grain production in Changde and improve the efficiency of grain production.Starting from the relevant concepts and theoretical basis,the paper first summarizes the natural endowment conditions of grain production in Changde and the overall situation of grain production at the present stage.On the basis of this,a comparative analysis of the existing major grain production and production organization patterns in Changde has been carried out from the two perspectives of the traditional and modern perspectives by the case study method.After investigating the input and output data of grain production in the field,the data envelopment analysis(DEA)method was used to analyze the grain production efficiency of the different scale of Changde from the microcosmic farmers' optimal income target and the macro government optimal output target.In general,the efficiency of grain planting in Changde is in the process of adjustment and evolution.The efficiency of grain production under the same scale needs to be further improved,and the scale of grain production needs to be further expanded under the same efficiency.Therefore,in order to further promote the scale and efficiency of grain production in Changde,it is necessary to make efforts in the following directions: first,to optimize the grain policy and improve the environment for the incentive policy of grain production;two,to strengthen the technical equipment and to optimize the operation conditions of the grain production scale;the three is to strengthen the outsourcing service and to build a public platform for the production of modern grain.The four is to innovate institutional mechanisms to promote the development of new grain business entities.
