Agriculture is the pillar industry of China's national economy. The efficiency of agricultural input and output is not only an assessment of domestic agricultural production capacity, but also an important manifestation of the country's agricultural economic development. In order to promote the stable development of agriculture, according to the contradiction between the current scarcity of agricultural element resources and the increase of human society's demand, how to increase the output of unit factor input, the problem of scientific resource allocation has been paid attention to by people from all walks of life,to a certain extent, showing agriculture. The practical problem of supply-side structural reform. Therefore,it is especially important to study the input and output efficiency of agriculture in combination with the structural reform background of agricultural supply side. This thesis studies the agricultural input and output efficiency of Jiangsu Province,a typical agricultural province in China, grasps its changing trends and related influencing factors, and promotes the scientific use of agricultural resources. It has far-reaching effects that cannot be ignored.First of all, this thesis deeply and detailedly expounds the current situation of scholars' input and output efficiency in agriculture, determines the connotation of agricultural input and output efficiency, and provides rich theoretical content for the discussion of agricultural input and output efficiency.Secondly,it conducts in-depth research on the structural reform of domestic agricultural supply side and the agricultural input and output of Jiangsu Province, and provides a macro description for this study.Thirdly, after selecting relevant indicators, the DEA model and Malmquist index model are used to measure the agricultural input and output efficiency of Jiangsu Province, and the agricultural input and output efficiency of Jiangsu Province is studied from static and dynamic perspectives. In addition,Tobit regression analysis was carried out on various factors affecting the efficiency of agricultural input and output in Jiangsu Province. Finally,on the basis of the analysis results, combined with the background of the structural reform of the agricultural supply side, put forward suggestions for improving the efficiency of China's agricultural input and output. The study found that:(1)From the perspective of agricultural input and output efficiency values, the overall value of agricultural input and output efficiency in Jiangsu Province during 2007~2016 has a high level, showing a slight decline and tends to develop steadily. However,in most cities of Jiangsu Province,DEA is ineffective, resource utilization rate is not optimal, and there is excess investment.(2)From the perspective of regional classification, the technical efficiency value of agriculture in southern Jiangsu is higher than that of Suzhong and Northern Jiangsu, and the scale of agricultural development in the region is not balanced.(3)From a dynamic perspective, the growth rate of agricultural input and output efficiency in Jiangsu Province is relatively low.The technical efficiency change index generally relies on the contribution of the scale efficiency change index, indicating that pure technical efficiency should continue to increase.(4)From the perspective of influencing factors,non-agricultural labor force participation rate, per capita agricultural output value, agricultural output value ratio are negatively correlated with agricultural input-output efficiency, agricultural fiscal expenditure, mobile phone penetration rate, fiscal environmental protection expenditure proportion and agricultural input The efficiency is positively correlated.
