| Located in the eastern part of China,Jiangsu Province enjoys a superior geographical position and the province's comprehensive strength is at the forefront of the country.As a major economic province in China,the logistics industry in Jiangsu Province has also achieved rapid development in recent years.In the national economy,the role and status of the logistics industry has been continuously improved,and it has become an important indicator to measure the degree of regional economic development.However,the overall operational efficiency of the logistics industry in Jiangsu Province is low and the operating costs are high.This outstanding problem has seriously hindered the development of the logistics industry in Jiangsu Province.Therefore,studying and solving the problem of low efficiency of the logistics industry in Jiangsu Province is of great significance for accelerating the overall development of Jiangsu Province.This dissertation was divided into six chapters.The first chapter was the introduction.Firstly,it introduced the research background and research significance.It also expounded the current development situation and existing problems of Jiangsu Province.It also included the research content,methods and ideas,with the innovation in this paper,to let the readers have a holistic grasp of the main theme of the dissertation.The theoretical basis and literature review was in the second chapter.In this chapter,the related theories were first introduced according to the previous studies,including the basic theories of logistics,logistics,efficiency evaluation and logistics industry efficiency evaluation.Secondly,several methods of efficiency evaluation were proposed,and these methods were compared and analyzed,and the advantages of DEA model as the efficiency measurement tool were determined.According to the research object and research purpose,the DEA and Bootstrap-DEA models were selected to measure the logistics efficiency of 13 cities in Jiangsu Province.Finally,combing and briefing the relevant literature from the aspects of efficiency evaluation research and efficiency measurement research,summarizing the advantages and disadvantages of the current research results,and providing theoretical support and scientific basis for comprehensive and in-depth study of the efficiency of logistics industry in Jiangsu Province.The third chapter was the analysis of the status quo of logistics industry in Jiangsu Province.This chapter described the development status of logistics industry in Jiangsu Province from three aspects of achievements,problems and opportunities,and laid a realistic foundation for the following empirical analysis.The fourth chapter was the empirical research on logistics industry in Jiangsu Province.Firstly,DEA and Bootstrap-DEA were selected as models for empirical analysis.According to the principle of selection of evaluation indicators,an evaluation index system was established.The collected data were collated,and the comprehensive efficiency of the logistics industry in 13 cities of Jiangsu Province was compared and analyzed by using DEA and Bootstrap-DEA models respectively.The calculation results of the two models were compared and the conclusions were compared.Then,the pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency of the logistics industry in 13 cities of Jiangsu Province were further measured and analyzed.Finally,the evaluation results were summarized and the reasons for the analysis were analyzed.The fifth chapter was the policy recommendations for the development of Jiangsu Province.Based on the Bootstrap-DEA model,the empirical results of the logistics industry efficiency analysis of 13 cities in the logistics industry of Jiangsu Province,put forward the policy recommendations to promote the development of logistics industry in Jiangsu Province.The sixth chapter was the conclusion and outlook.In this chapter,the main conclusions of this paper were presented,and the shortcomings of the paper and the future research directions were pointed out. |
